Title: Serious upgrade from wifi 6 Description: I've been blown away by the NETGEAR Nighthawk BE3600 Wi-Fi 7 Dual-Band Router (RS100) since the moment I set it up. Setup was exceptionally fast and easy through the Netgear — I was up and running in minutes, and the app makes managing everything a breeze. It honestly just copied the passwords once I named the new system. The dual-band technology reduces network congestion by letting devices connect on either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz band and the difference in speed and stability compared to my old router is genuinely night and day. With a powerful quad-core 2.0 GHz processor and Wi-Fi 7 speeds, it covers up to 2,000 sq. ft. and — perfect for my home with laptops, phones, smart TVs, and all my smart home gadgets running simultaneously without a hiccup. El soporte de la Netgear esta en la India, no hablan español, apenas hablan ingles, y forzosamente quieren tu nombre, apellido y correo electronico para tomar tu llamada. Si no das esos datos, te cuelgan. Netgear ahora se dedica a la venta de datos personales, ya que no hacen routers que sirvan. Compre este router por que la pagina de netgear insiste que puedes configurar un cliente VPN directamente en el router. Esto es categoricamente FALSO. El submenu que su misma documentacion indica, NO EXISTE dentro de este router, ende, NO ES POSIBLE configurar una VPN. Falla seguido. De la nada mis servicio deja de navegar. No indica falla o perdida de señal, o un timeout. Simplemente deja de cargar lo que sea, ya sea por wifi o por ethernet. El problema se soluciona inmediatamente conectando directamente al modem de mi provedor de servicios. Si, es cierto. Es Wifi6, pero solo para dispositivos mobiles. Mi PC tiene una tarjeta de red que tambien es wifi6, y por ninguna razon el router solo le permite una conexion tipo 802.11n, lo cual te limita a 200Mbps. No hay forma de conectar mi PC en 802.11ac o 802.11ax. Curiosamente, al compartir datos con mi celular a la misma PC, esa conexcion SI ES 802.11ax. Es decir, no es un problema con la PC, ni con el celular. El router simplemente limita las conexciones de PCs a 802.11n, y no hay forma, no hay manera de forzar al router a utilizar 802.11ax. Y por alguna razon todo quieren que sea por su jodida app.

Another thing I like is the 2.5-gig internet port, which helps take advantage of faster cable or fiber internet plans if you have them. The router also includes built-in security with NETGEAR Armor, which adds some extra peace of mind for all the devices on the network. Overall, if you’re upgrading from an older Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 router, this is a great step up without spending a fortune. It’s fast, reliable, and perfect for streaming, working from home, and running a house full of smart devices. Bottom line: Great performance, easy setup, and a solid upgrade from an old router. I used this NETGEAR router to replace my Google WiFi 2-point mesh system, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. With my old Google WiFi setup, I was not getting the full benefit of my 2 gig internet service, and there were areas in my house where the signal was weaker. This router has been a major upgrade. I now have strong coverage throughout my entire home with no dead spots, and I am finally getting the speeds I expected from my 2 gig internet plan.
