Great strap, good 3 hour battery
This is a very good battery headstrap for Quest 3. It has the newer style battery which is rated at 15w input and output, although I found it's closer to 12w in practice. This isn't an issue as Quest 3 generally uses about 12w or less, maybe 13w in demanding games. I tested it playing a variety of games, watching YouTube, and mostly PCVR wireless at 90fps and high bitrate, which is fairly demanding due to video decoding, streaming and the high refresh rate, and in total the battery lasted exactly 3 hours while the headset battery dropped from 85% to 82% so it gives just enough juice to not drain the Quest battery. Charging took nearly 4 hours, however using a different charger may have sped it up (one of my other chargers made the battery squeal, and it was reading 15w, but using the Quest charger and cable didn't squeal). There is no battery buzz or sound that I could hear, which seems to have been a common issue, but it appears they have fixed this with the new battery. You can also use the battery pack as a regular power bank, just plug your phone into it and press the on button. Seems a true 10,000 mah capacity and it will fast charge your phone at around 13w. As for the halo style strap I found it pretty comfortable. It's obviously not going to feel like you have nothing on your head since the whole setup with quest 3 is 970g, not much less than a motorcycle helmet! But it does feel pretty evenly balanced and with the centre strap you can alleviate some pressure from the halo part. It's also very adjustable, you can set the height and forward/back of the headset, you can even flick the whole headset fully up, although it doesn't really work with the standard Quest 3 facial interface as it's too large. That up and down action was very stiff out the box but you can easily loosen it with the 3 screws either side, under the padding. A quarter turn on each screw was about right for me. The forward backward dials click in one direction and not the other, it feels fine to use and is a useful feature that most straps don't have. The clicking isn't too loud. The rear dial feels good quality, I thought it would be tricky to use with the battery obscuring part of it but in reality it's fine. Much better feel to it than my cheapo strap's dial. The padding is very soft, and is removable with a velcro material. The rear pad has some tilt adjustment so it moulds to your head. Some had said the halo part is quite narrow but I have a medium size head - medium motorcycle helmet size - and it fits perfectly for me. Quality-wise it feels great. No creaks whatsoever and it feels well made. I have a cheap halo strap that is creaky and noisy but this KKCOBVR is night and day better. The battery sticks via magnets very nicely and feels secure. It's not percently balanced so there is a little forward tilt when you hold the strap at the top, but definitely better than having no rear battery. My only issue so far is that the battery charges the Quest even when I don't turn it on, and sometimes I don't want it to charge (I like to keep the quest around 80% to preserve battery health) so I sometimes have to unplug it or remove the battery. No biggie though. Overall impressive value for money. I'll probably use the battery as a power bank since it's quite compact and only 181g, whereas my other 10,000mah pack is 224g. A nice bonus. Definitely recommend this headset.

Most impressive and great value. So much better than std head strap
If it was possible to give this headset a higher rating then I would, it has been superb in so many ways. Please check my photos. It arrived very well packaged and boxed. The box, and its packaged contents, exudes quality in presentation and build. The components used feel solid and robust. The included manual covers most parts of the fitting and assembly. There was no difficulty in removing the original head strap and then, aided by using a YT video to help, assembling and fitting this head strap. We are using it along with the AMVR facepad, but it also fits well with the original fitted one. The battery provided needed to be fully charged, that took a few hours. It will automatically lock into place, due to the magnets on the battery holder. When attached with the lead to the headset you will then see the four lights on top of the battery light up, signifying full capacity, and then the light will light up on the Quest 3 indicating it is being charged. The only thing missing in the manual is to inform you.... The button on the battery works as follows.... One press to turn it on and two presses to turn it off. I have contacted the manufacturers and they now are aware this information is missing from the manual. My wife has a small head, whilst mine is quite large. The large knob at the rear of the headset, under the battery, is easy enough to turn to compensate for different head sizes. The changing is done quickly, and it works very well. You also have two side adjusters that can bring the face pad closer to the face if required. These work well. It would be very difficult to find any fault at all with this head strap and battery set. When in use I hear no nise when the battery is connected. It seems to last well, still needs further testing to note how long it lasts. The battery being 10,000mAh should offer to extend the use of the Quest 3 for some time. It is very comfortable, when used for long periods. Both myself and my wife have found no issues in wearing it, no movement, and it stays in place. Totally recommended, without hesitation. I hope this review has helped you.

Buzzing battery. Comfy strap.
EDIT: I contacted the manufacturers directly from their website explaining about the buzzing batteries. They responded within a few hours and sent out a replacement part on the same day. Excellent customer service. I’ll edit this review again when I receive the part. I bought this with an additional spare battery. Both batteries make a fizzing/buzzing sound. Are these safe? This is a shame battery life is good though and two hot swappable batteries would mean I would have continuous power but I am reluctant to use them. I’ve heard batteries hiss a bit before with my ear next to them but these are quite loud. You don’t have to put your ear near it. The strap itself is really comfortable. Best i’ve I’ve tried and can be used halo style or clamped to your face. Quality seems fine and the adjustable wheels on the sides are brilliant for taking the pressure off your face. If it wasn’t for my concern about the batteries this unit combined with a spare battery would be the ultimate solution and probably the best headstrap with charger out there. I prefer it over BOBOBR.

Must have Head Strap!
This head strap is a game changer! The original straps that come with the Meta Quest 3 was just not doing it for me as it felt way too front heavy, so I started looking around for something that would help with that and the KKCOBVR Q3 looked to have everything I was looking for and seemed really good for the price as there are some expensive ones out there. The fitment is great as nearly all parts of it are adjustable such as the front so you can move the screen closer or further away as you like, the rear you can also adjust with a wheel making sure that it sits snug at the back of your head and also the top has some straps making sure the entire thing sits properly without any movement. The balance of the whole thing is truly amazing as after a few minutes you forget that it is even there making sure you can have long sessions on the VR. It comes with a battery as well which is a huge bonus as this adds an extra few hours to my sessions and a plus is that you can keep it plugged in to the charger and still using it making sure the battery doesn't deplete whilst you're nearby a charger. Setup was also very easy as most of it comes already assembled together, all I had to do was adjust the parts to make it fit. Overall the quality of the head strap feels really sturdy, feels like even if I was to drop it, it would be able to take the force as it does not feel cheap. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a head strap for the Meta 3 or 3s to get this one as you will not be disappointed.

KKCOBVR Q3 Pro is super comfortable!
In terms of comfort, this KKCOBVR Q3 Pro halo strap transforms the quest 3 VR experience for me, from one of face squishing discomfort to one of hardly knowing I'm wearing it. The halo strap allows the quest facial interface to be completely removed (quite a tricky operation) so you can set the headset to hover in front of your eyes with nothing touching your face. Removing the facial interface is a matter of personal choice, one which I prefer, but it's entirely up to the user. With the interface left in place you can set it so there is no pressure on your face and you still get the immersive real world blackout effect offered by the interface. I had no problems with adjustment for my XL hat/helmet sized head. I am using it without the provided support straps and I'm experiencing no headset slippage during play. The extra battery is great and roughly doubles play time. Build quality is great. The supplied padding adds to the comfort. It's nice and light too. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a more comfortable wearing experience and extended battery life.

Excellent product, fully adjustable and comfortable. Good and extended battery life
1. Easy to fit 2. Comfortable for both fitness, RPG and stationary activities 3. Long battery life. I got rid of the Quest strap very quickly and got a non-meta battery strap that was ok but became uncomfortable over prolonged periods and I could not lift the headset to have a drink etc. This works well in all respects, and I bought mine on prime day which meant it was a bargain. The halo design is something I had not tried before but I have found it comfortable and I also like the front side adjustments that allow you to take pressure of the face and cheeks.

Great head strap, but the UK store doesn't ship to Republic of Ireland. Need an amazon.ie store
Happy with purchase. Heard it might be a tight fit on people with larger heads, which I have, but I actually found it very comfortable, and the extended battery life has been a game changer, figuratively and literally. My only gripe is I would have preferred to order it through amazon.ie, for direct shipping to my address in Republic Of Ireland. But the store isn't on amazon.ie, so I had to order from amazon.co.uk, and get it shipped to my mom's address in N.I., cos the UK store didn't offer shipping to R.O.I. So I would suggest they sort an amazon.ie store with shipping to R.O.I addresses, as I have recommended it to several friends here, who are interested

Best Strap for Meta Quest 3!
I’ve tried a few head straps for my Meta Quest 3, and this KKCOBVR Q3 PRO Battery Head Strap 10000 is by far the best. It’s not the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for. The build quality is excellent, and the added battery really makes a difference for extended play sessions. The strap is comfortable, adjustable, and stays secure even during intense gaming. I was so impressed that I ended up buying another one for my son’s Meta Quest 3. If you’re looking for a high-quality head strap with extra battery power, this is the one!

The Head Strap is great but there could be buzzing on the battery.
Update 05/27/24: I was contacted by the company about my issues. They quickly tried to resolve my issue and sent me the updated back plate. I have now updated my review to add that the customer service has been excellent. I have no issues recommending this product and this company. They were extremely helpful with all my issues. I definitely recommend you trying the head strap and I think it is better than the BoboVR head strap, especially for the price. Original Review: I really like the Q3 Pro Head strap and it is very comfortable. There are a lot of adjustments that you can make with the head strap for a better fit on your head. The stock head strap was putting pressure on my face and made it uncomfortable after a short time. With the new head strap I can wear it for much longer without it hurting my face. I really like the head strap but there are 2 issues that I have. 1) Since the head strap is quite sturdy and attaches a battery it does make the head strap heavy. It is not too bad because the weight is mostly balanced so you can adjust it to be more comfortable. 2) The bigger issues is the battery buzzing sound. It can get quite loud and annoying. I have read in another review that KKCOBVR, sent them another backplate with a new wire that helps with the issue, but I do not have that new backplate. I’m not sure how to contact the company and if I am able to test the new backplate, I may come back to update this review. But at least currently my battery buzzes and it can get quite loud.

Excellent replacement - Just buy it.
Hello fellow Quest 3 owners. I don't usually write reviews but this headstrap is extremely comfortable. The materials don't feel cheap. The back headrest feels good. To assemble didnt take to long. I watched the video. I would of bought it at this price without the battery. The battery is a bonus. Now for the battery - the battery is great and lasts. I'd buy another battery if they sold it separately or a compatible one if it exists. As others have pointed out there is a noise when the battery is connected and nothing is being played. I've connected other batteries and this issue doesn't exist. I'm wondering if its shielding on the cable? Definitely not a deal breaker but an annoyance. Great headstrap, just buy it.
