We just incorporated this hydroponic kit into our home to grow larger plants that the smaller hydroponic kits with lights cannot grow. So far i am pleasantly surprised as this kit is much more inclusive and higher quality but it was similar in size. It is super easy to install and build, it came with instructions but i did not find them necessary. Function wise it allows me to grow lettuce which was impossible in the smaller units and other larger herbs. I believe that within some time this kit will ultimately pay for itself all while providing pesticide free and organic produce. Love it and cant wait to share more insight as I learn some tricks.

The media could not be loaded. This was pretty easy to set up. There were picture instructions that matches up pretty well. The pump looked slightly different than in the instructions but it was easy to figure out how to connect it the same way. All pieces were included (tip: I thought the hose is missing but it was coiled up in the top compartment).Now that it is all set up, everything seems to function well! The water is pumped up to the top then trickles down into each section. I checked all the holes, and the water is evenly distributed leaving now dry gaps.I started my seeds in the pods it came with, but I kept them in trays until I knew their roots were long enough to reach the water.This thing can hold 30 plants which is amazing! I will use it to grow herbs and greens indoors. One thing I wish is that the base of this looked a little more decorative. I think I will put it inside a large decorative pot so that it looks prettier.The device itself doesn't have any electronic timers or settings, but it does come with a smart plug. You can connect the smart plug you an app and set timers for the water pump to turn on and off.

This kit is great. All of the pods are germinating. The quality of this kit is good. Excited to grow all kinds of veggies.

This is so easy to setup and work with. I wanted a space saver hydroponic tower for herbs. So far a few seeds germinated and I’m happy.

The Sjzxuv Grow Sponges provide an excellent means of germination and growth in a hydroponic tub.When I first inspected the pods I thought the bed was not deep enough to provide enough moisture for good germination but after presoaking the pods I could tell they held the liquid very well.I used the included tweezers to place some home harvested lettuce seeds and was impressed that after only 4 days I could see the seeds starting to grow.The sponges continue to wick the liquid and I believe they are doing a better job than what came with my hydroponics kit.I'll be interested to see how well the pods allow for root penetration, I suspect they'll do that properly as well.The only reason I gave this kit a 4 instead of 5 star rating is because of the misleading main product description photo showing a large quantity of pods. Reading the description it's clear that this only include 6, but I'm a strong believer that that main photo and description accurately displays what the purchaser will receive when they order. Unfortunately many people just glance and buy which can lead to disappointment and returns.Bottom line: If you need pod holders and sponges this 6 pack is a fairly good value. If you're just looking for pods, keep looking.

This summer have gotten into indoor hydrophonic planting. This is a good starter product. Definitely revommend it

I've been getting into hydroponics again and am currently building out a new AI driven model. I wanted to try a number of different pod concepts and considered these. Size isn't typical but they are functional. Value for the money isn't bad, and as long as you take into consideration the size difference BEFORE you cut your holes you're good to go.Construction is a bit thin, but it comes with the basics. I only dropped the stars a bit because of the thinness of the plastic and one was damaged. If all of it had arrived undamaged I would have given an extra star. and I would like to state that it was in no way Amazon's fault - they delivered it securely. It was on the inside of the manufacturer's package it happened.
