Q: is the case stainless steel? I know the 5000 is but this one doesn't have a picture saying so.

This does have the dlc stainless steel case under the rubber. It’s the exact same watch as the 5000, the 5000U has an upgraded module with a better backlight and some other new features too

Q: I have an 8" (210mm) wrist circumference, so I need a watch that will be 8-1/4" (220mm) in total length to fit comfortably. Will this fit?

I have approx. 7" wrist and wear the watch with the pin in the 6th hole. This leaves it a little loose around the wrist with approx. 2.5" of strap remaining after the 6th hole. The watch is 9.5" from tip of one end to the other. Hope this helps.

Q: What is the difference between the gw-m5610ubc-1jf and the gw-5000u-1jf?

Looks like the gw-m5610ubc-1jf has a bracelet, reverse display, and lacks the screw down back.
