Tiger JNP-1500-FL 8-Cup (Uncooked) Rice Cooker and Warmer, Floral White by Tiger Corporation

I've had my fair share of rice cookers over the years, but the only one I remember truly loving was one my sister-in-law brought over from Korea ages ago. I haven’t found anything to rival that perfect rice cooker in 35 years... UNTIL NOW! I’m betting her magic machine was a Tiger, too, because this Tiger JNP-1500-FL Rice Cooker is simply AMAZING! This little gem is simple and straightforward—it doesn’t try to be anything other than what it is, and that’s exactly why I love it. It does one thing: cooks rice. But boy, does it do it SO SO WELL! No more mushy or undercooked rice—just perfectly fluffy, delicious rice every single time. I’m so glad I decided to take the plunge and buy this cooker. It’s brought back that same joy I had all those years ago. If you want a no-fuss, fantastic rice cooker that delivers every single time, this is it. My rice game has never been better, and I'm loving every grain!

I love Tiger brand rice cookers. After my last one was lost in a move, I knew I had to buy another and I wasn't going to buy any other brand. Its so easy to use because all you have to do is press the button down and it starts cooking. Once it's done the button goes to "keep warm"

Attempting to get a new rice cooker prior to Lunar New Year to surprise my mom, as part of a good luck in the Asian tradition. The first rice cooker arrived 2 days as promised. My mom was so stoked she received it so fast. So disappointed, there was a huge dent outside of the rice cooker, I guess they didn't check when it was packed as the box seemed fine. Anyway, I asked for a replacement. The bad thing was we didn't have a rice cooker during the new year as I gave away my old one before it was arrived, hopefully we won't starve the entire year, lol. (Asian believe if you run out of the 5 essential things such as rice, salt, water, gas & oil during the first day of the year, you will have bad luck the entire year) The good thing was they sent it immediately and we received it 2 days later. So far, I am pretty happy with it.

great quality. our last one lasted for decades

Had our previous National/Panasonic rice cooker for over thirty years. It finally failed. In searching for a replacement I mostly saw multi purposes hot pot cookers that did many things in addition to cooking rice. They were costly and had unneeded features. I’m aware of this brand and, after seeing that it was a dedicated rice cooker, purchased it. It does exactly what we want and is of similar quality as our previous unit. If you just want a rice cooker I can highly recommend this one.
