It may be the BEST thing I have purchased on Amazon. I have a mid-length haired dog that lives inside. I also have no carpet, so I sweep about 4-5 times a day. My sweet girl wont go to the groomers and she is almost 100 pounds. I was able to use the SLEEKEZ on her and WOW!!! I can see spots I forgot she had! She was so happy to let me "comb" her with it. You'll still have to to brush out tangles with another comb but this comb does the body and legs great. **Q: Does it work on cats?** A: Yes! The SleekEZ works great on cats. We recommend the 2.5 inch SleekEZ for cats and other small shedding animals. **Q: Will it damage the Guard hairs on my husky?** A: It shouldn't. I have a hairy Fell cross cob and I got this because she sheds like crazy this time of year. I have used various other combs, brushes and shedding tools but this is excellent in comparison. It took me several minutes to do her all over, but when I was done, she looked soft and shiny, and the whole floor beneath us was covered in her hair, it was so exciting. I wish I took a photo. She also loved it VERY much. I got the largest one which is great all over the main body, but I am about to order the medium one to do face and legs as the big one is slightly too big for that and you can't be very precise. Well worth the money & the results are amazing. Yes it gets dirty quickly, but use your noggin and paint it with something that you can wipe clean, if you are bothered by it getting dirtyt. Can't recommend this enough.
