ESP32-S3 with lots of I/O breakout and two USB-C with a bonus NeoPixel RGB LED too.
I've knocked a star off, as there's not enough information to get things working without a little trial and error. I've not tested everything but it looks OK so far. There are 3 LEDs: red - power applied; green/blue - receive/transmit The RGB Neopixel is on pin 48. The solder jumper labelled RGB seems to be bridged already - cut it if you have another use for GPIO48. This works fine with the Adafruit_NeoPixel library. The pinout appears to be as per the Espressif ESP32-S3_devkitC (look for esp32-s3-devkitc-1 on docs.espressif.com as I can't give the full URL here) but with more flash (16MB reported). The two USBs are reversed compared to the Espressif pinout. Programming works on both. Arduino Serial appears on the one marked 'USB' on the underside of the board. For PlatformIO I picked the 4d_systems_esp32s3_gen4_r8n16 board as being a decent match.

Avoid. Pinout on board doesn't match the schematic, could not manage to write to the board despite hours of troubleshooting.

unfortunately, after i purchased the esp32 it ended up not working and was unable to use it properly - so many errors.

easy to use.
Packing was good, everything arrived fine. This is my first time using this board, and so far I am happy with it. It worked straight out of the box without any strange problems. I created a PlatformIO project, build was successful, upload worked, and serial monitor also worked fine. For me this is exactly what I expected, smooth, fast, and no fighting with setup. I also checked hardware details while doing my second small project, and from what I can see the technical claims are correct. Overall, good board and good first impression.

Perfecta para openDTU
Placa de desarrollo a buen precio y con entrega rápida , que en mi caso era necesario, porque la uso para controlar un inversor de energía solar y la que tenía se estropeó. Funciona perfectamente con OpenDTU, cargas el firmware , configuras y listo.
