I used this eSIM for a few weeks of traveling in the UK and it worked great! It was a little harder to set up than other eSIMs I have used through apps--you have to email the company to activate it and it took a couple of days before they did so. But what I realized too late is that you can time the activation. Set it for the date you will arrive in the country so they can have it ready to go and you don't have to wait a couple days like I did. One downside is that there isn't a super easy way to check how much data is left. You have to email the company, who will tell you how much is remaining. I didn't remember that I had got an unlimited data card for this particular country, so I emailed asking how to tell how much data I have left, and they told me I had 2gb. So I bought another UK eSIM to use because I figured this one would be running out soon. Then the next time I emailed to check how much data is remaining, they said it is unlimited. So I didn't need to buy the second eSIM at all. That was a little frustrating but it was partly on me for not remembering that I had an unlimited card. So overall, I prefer to get eSIMs through apps where you can more easily check data usage, but to their credit, this company always responded to my emails in a very timely and friendly manner which made it so it wasn't too difficult to check data or activate the card. I would recommend this especially if you get an unlimited data card so you don't have to worry about checking data anyways.

I've been researching this and also saw what others have been experiencing. I originally thought we'd use this on our summer trip but we had to cancel that maybe until next year. However I don't have any issues with using this as data but I'm not a fan of having to install WhatsApp just to confirm the set-up. I'm glad in a way we had our plans changed. I'm still wondering if we could use this in an older phone just to give our main cellphones DATA to use (like a hotspot). There is no call quality unless you want to use an app (or voice over IP). I'm sure texting on apps will work but I'm not sure if you can use it for anything texting wise unless you use DATA functionality. However make sure you research BEFORE you use this. It definitely requires a bit of attention to use. I kinda wish I was able to use it locally but I don't think it'll work since it'll consider that roaming.

Very difficult to set up, had to wait until in country and only can reach support via Whatsapp - which user did not have and needed to install on order to complete setup in country. If I had not been able to setup my WhatsApp, I would have not been able to use SIM at all! Instructions sent with eSIM are limited, do not give you everything you need to know for setup. Once it was set up, data was available and very helpful to have during travel. Good value for the money and decent speeds. If you do not have good tech understanding you will be better off working with your cell carrier or getting a card in country from a store front that can assist setup.

Esta eSim es una muy buena opción para aquellas personas que vayan a viajar a UK durante al menos 2 semanas, lo ideal sería para gente que vaya a estar 30 días, para aprovechar al máximo la eSim. Puede parecer una opción cara (debería ver otras opciones del mercado), pero disponer de datos ilimitados durante 30 días en otro país es algo bastante útil para aquellas personas que vayan moverse mucho. Es importante remarcar que son sólo datos, nada de llamadas por número telefónico, pero con los datos sí se pueden hacer llamadas mediante aplicaciones.

This is an affordable option when traveling abroad. Easy to activate and the instructions are clear and simple to follow. Price is comparable to other options on the market and the level of service provided is great. Will update review after travelling to the UK later this year!

Update 03.09.2025: the card lasts 30 days even if you tell them you only want to use it for a short time. I activated from 6th to 10th June, and thought I could use it again – however, it had run out and they told me I had to buy a new card. ––––––– I got this for a trip to UK. They ask you to go online and tell them your travel dates at least 5 days before you leave – you tell them when you arrive and leave, so that you only use up the days you want, and don't waste any. On the day before it starts, they send you an email with a QR code to scan, which will only work once, so don't delete it even if it doesn't work! Contact them instead, via WhatsApp when you can get on wifi or a home network. In UK, you have to switch on roaming, and it uses 3, EE and O2. (It never used Vodafone.) Speeds are the same as you would get if you were on a native sim card – not amazing, but that's not the sim card's fault.

I’ve just activated this UK SIM card, and it seems to be working fine so far—good signal and quick setup. However, I haven’t had the chance to fully test it in all areas yet, so I can’t speak to its performance in different locations or over extended use. Everything looks promising, though, and I’m hopeful it’ll hold up once I’m able to really use it. Will update my review once I’ve had more experience with it!
