I find the extract to have a rather alcohol taste. I don't think this would be so strong if you are using this for baking cookies, etc. as alcohol is dissolved with cooking, but I wanted this to mix in with olive oil for toppings and I don't think this will work. I cannot taste the actual extract for the alcohol. Stick to using this for cooking and it will be fine. Also, the bottle came without a lid. I used a lid from a regular 710ml soda pop bottle and it works fine.

I love this stuff! Just a quarter of a teaspoon makes such a difference. I am trying to bake vegan but everything comes out tasteless and bland. This really gives things that buttery kick that vegetable shortening lacks. I add it to cakes, cookies, pie crusts and anything baked.
