UltimateSpaceBase (U.S.B.) 64gb 2.0 USB Grade A Chip

This USB flash drive comes formatted with the exFAT file system. That's fine, but limits its compatibility somewhat. The drives have worked ok so far.However there is a serious issue with these, in that you cannot reformat them as NTFS on Windows 7, for some reason. I have a media player device that requires the NTFS file system, and thus these are not usable with that device.I also tried to write out a Linux Live-USB ISO image to this stick, and that also failed, which would suggest there there are some blocks in the disk that aren't writable (maybe block 0?). I suspect there's a common design flaw that causes both of these issues.I've not seen any of the file corruption issues mentioned, but I've not read/written from these extensively yet. I'll report back after more use. I'll give it three stars since can be used, but only for limited use cases. I would return them, but it's past the 30 day deadline. I'll buy another brand next time, as every other brand I've used allows re-formatting.

they are the best price out there from what i can tell but they are really slow to put stuff on them. So just keep that in mind.

I bought two of these based on the product description that "Supports the following operating systems Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP & OS X 10.5.X and above""AND ABOVE" to me, would mean any operating system above those listed.Not so.Every time I try to retrieve data from it it prompts me to format the drive (which I have done already 18 times).Obviously these DO NOT work on the most recent OS, such as Windows 10.

Seems well made, works well...time will tell if it lasts!

Sometimes when putting files on the usb I would eject it and then later go to use it and at least half the files would be missing. Or the folders where there but none of the stuff was in the folder, it was empty. Really frustrating.

average quality material on the usb but this is the first time i have to deal with such usb. so frustrating! having trouble adding and deleting things. sometimes the things i put in dont even work and will not open. -_-

This is a fast drive and the quality is very good. The owners of UltimateSpaceBase are proud of their products and are committed to their customers. Obviously their name is not as well known as some others, but don't hesitate to buy any of their products.

The item works okay, I have had to delete and rewrite files to it several times. Price was good, which is why I bought it. Next time I will go with a better item.
