This is an expensive feather duster. I grew up using ostrich feather dusters. This is definitely not reminiscent of those. These feathers are very short. The first time I used it two feathers fell out within a few minutes of use. Don't waste your money!!

Now? My home is not merely clean—it is a gleaming, immaculate temple of hygiene that would make an operating room look like a gravel pit. ​The telescoping pole extends with the smooth, majestic authority of a celestial telescope, allowing you to banish debris from eight feet away without so much as breaking a sweat or risking your neck on a wobbly step stool. Perfect! Keep out the dust!

I have owned some beautiful Ostrich, feather dusters, this is NOT one of them. In the sellers picture, the feathers look to be long and fluffy. In reality, it looks as if somebody chopped the top of the feathers off evenly. They are much shorter than they appear in the sellers photo. They are not fluffy either! I’ve attached a photo of one of my other feather dusters next to this extendable duster. You can see the difference. I thought with time they may fluff out, but that has not been the case. The other issue is the extendible handle itself. Both the plastic grip slides off and the screw in attachment of the feather section keeps coming undone while using it ( see my attached photos) I’ve kept it too long now to request a refund, which is what I should’ve done the minute I looked at it, but I thought I would give it a chance and I shouldn’t have. I do not recommend this.

These things are worse they’re white and gold. They’re easy to use, soft, thick, and after you dust, you just take it outside and shake it to release the dust. Excellent value.
