The find of the decade
I used to own two of these warming plates and was almost in tears when a dinner guest messed them up about ten years ago. Since then I have been hunting in garage sales and online auctions hoping to find these warming stones again since they no longer appeared on the market. Imagine my joy when I finally found this item on Amazon. The stone surface is 8" x 8". They work best with plates or pots with smooth undersides, and therefore ideal in my house since I only use Corelle and Corningware. Three minutes in the microwave and the food is kept warm until the end of dinner.

Great! Does everything they say!
This is AWESOME! Its clean, simple, easy, very versatile, fits easily in my standard size microwave oven (in USA), efficient, attractive and strong materials, and truly convenient. Highly recommend! My very elderly mom eats very slow, & rejects cold food, stops eating. With this, she eats it all and enjoys food again! And it doesn't burn her (at 2 mins heating time), its just VERY warm. Great buy.
