I wanted something with safety features that were better than what was available many years ago. Overall, I like the can. It is stable, not too bulky and the safety features are one hand operational. it would be nice if they were made with an additional handle for better control of the pour. The only disappointment or complaint is the restricted size of the pour nozzle. It is neither efficient, nor robust enough to handle anything if not handled cautiously.

I find this to be a good choice for a gas can as it has a safety shut off on the outlet and the price was reasonable given its quality of construction and its brand name. The safety valve is defeated with one finger. The shape of the can being narrow makes it easier to support under one arm as you pour gas. This is important due to the weight of 5 gallons of fuel.

My very old gas container needed replacement - I was reluctant to get a new one based on many having a difficult method of dispensing gas without frustration/spilling. This B&S Garage Boss seems to resolve that to a certain extent. It is easy enough to push the tab in then push down to dispense the fuel into the tank. There is only a handle on the top so you need to support the bottom of the container while directing the nozzle into the tank opening. The gas does flow into the tractor tank easily enough compared to the old one (no vent) so that is a bonus. I was hoping the old cap/nozzle would fit the new one but it didn't. This was a good purchase and should last many years as the old one was over 20 years old! There are Youtube videos on this exact gas container to show all features/operation.

The spout is easier to pour from than other gas cans I’ve used. The one hand operation of the spout made it easier to hold the gas can while filling the tank of my lawn tractor. Its angle allowed the gas to flow from the can more smoothly than others. The upper clear portion of the spout can be removed to have a larger opening. The spout was easy to remove from the can for filling from the gas pump. It seals well and I haven’t had any issues with leaks. I purchased the 2 gallon size so it wouldn’t be too heavy for me to carry and pour from. I will be ordering an additional one so I can make fewer trips to the gas station.

This is a good gas can for the money. The safety nozzle is the best I've used so far. You push the button inward to unlock, then down to flow gas so it's easy to use one hand to pour. I won't have to modify or replace the fuel nozzle and that's a huge plus.

The 2 gallons are easier for me to handle. I like that you can insert the spout, then press a mechanism to pour the gas - result no spillage. A disappointment for me is that the red cap to seal the spout between usage was missing for one of the two that I purchased. And the mechanism to release the gas is a little flimsy; not sure how long that will last. I gave it 3 starts not because I wouldn't purchase again, but because of the two things I mentioned above. I hope to give an update this time next year.

Well made, good tall narrow shape, and comes with an excellent spout. Getting hit by Hurricane Beryl a few weeks ago led me to purchase a portable generator and having enough gas to run it for a few days. Now with two gas cans, bring it!

After reading the reviews I decided to go ahead and purchase 2 1 gal containers. upon receiving and assembling the spout and attaching it to the gas can, I was well pleased with the product. Most of the complaints I read before I purchased were do to the fact that people fail read the directions that are attached to the can. One complaint that sticks out is the person that complained about the push button on the spout. If he would have read the directions he would have known you have to push the button forward then down to open the spout. Another complaint was the fuel comes out too slow. When your pouring fuel into the gas tank of a chainsaw or weed eater or a lawnmower that only holds a small amount of fuel , you don't want it gushing out of the can. As I only bought the one gallon cans, I can't speak for the larger ones. Although, since I use 3 different fuel mixtures, I use a 5 gallon can to fill the 1 gallon containers.
