Really great tool. I appreciate the effective scraping ability without stabbing myself. The sliding cover is a really useful gimmick as well.

Use daily and promote in my fiber art collage classes as knife does not cut fabric beneath adhesives/paper. Weight is comfortable in hand and can maneuver in small spaces/intricate design. Sleeve slides over blade and locks to protect blade during non-use. Would recommend.

I’m a watercolor artist. I have NOT tried to actually cut with this, but I do use it for cutting fine details into watercolor paper. It is a beautiful cut and I appreciate the safety of this vs a standard blade. Love it!

This was what I was looking for to get the very fine lines. Another review with a video emphasized the importance of having multiple layers before using. Works best on dark pigments. I really like that it is ceramic and has an attached cover.

I purchased this craft knife to use for creating fine lines when creating colored pencils on drafting film. Using the edge (not the sharp part), the pencil color can be gently removed for crisp fine lines where needed. Replacement blades in various shapes and thicknesses are available, too. It has a slide down sleeve to cover the blade when not in use that can be slid up and turned to stay in place when using. I had previously purchased one that you had to keep a button pressed down to use and the design of this one is SO much better and more comfortable to use. I'm sure it has many other uses but it's Fabulous for using in colored pencil drawings on drafting film!

A great knife until it breaks. There’s few to no options to purchase replacement blades so purchase is a single use. The ceramic blade is excellent, but a 4 pack blade replacement cost 3 times this whole kit. For what you pay, it’s better to buy an exacto knife that you know you can buy replacements for

Lo más valioso de este cutter es la seguridad que brinda la cerámica para evitar que sufras un accidente por el filo de un cutter de navaja metálica. A nosotros nos sirve bien para las manualidades que hacemos y que consisten en cortar cartón, papel y cartulinas. Algo a lo que cuesta acostumbrarse es a la punta corta de cerámica para realizar los cortes. En cuanto al grueso del cartón que puede cortar nosotros lo hemos usado para cartón de cereales y cajas de galletas y corta bien en trazos rectos pero en trazos curvos cuesta trabajo. En conclusión lo que más nos gustó del producto es que la punta de cerámica previene accidentes a tus manos.

It came on time and looks just as it was described. The built in safety cover works just as it should. I do enjoy the Slice products. Even more, I enjoy NOT slicing myself! I suppose that you might if you really mishandled it. So far I’ve avoided accidents with it. And it still cuts well!
