Dear customer, just download the Tuya plug-in on home asistant and you can use it

Sure you can as long as you have a multi outlet device connected directly to the plug.

Q: can i just use ther alexia app to program this

Dear Customer, you need to use Smart Life APP to Program the plugs, but you can use Alexa APP to turn on/off the plugs. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Q: Does the power light stay on when the plug is turned off?

You get the plug set up and plugged into the wall. Then you turn on the lamp plug it in to the plug, and then you can use Alexa to instruct the plug to turn the light on and off. You say alexa, turn on living room light or whatever room you have it in. You have to name the plug according to the device you have plugged into it. I hope that makes sense.
