The best you can buy.
Fulton makes the best, most reliable and durable flashlight in the world. The 90 degree head and flat bottom make it incredibly useful. You can stand it up and aim it where you need it or clip it to a backpack strap or pocket for hands free use.It is waterproof and super impact resistant. It’s only fault is the D cell batteries and it’s lumen output. The D cell can be overcome with an LED conversion kit made made and sold by Fulton. It’s slightly brighter, FAR lighter and lastsLonger. This flashlight is what you need for realWorld use, it is after all a U.S. Military grade product! What it is not is a super bright turbocharged spotlight, what it is however is the best flashlight you can buy, and more than enough light for anything you’ll need it for, without a giant stack of dead batteries left in your wake.

Genuine Military Issue
Awesome lights, Not very bright, But very sturdy and durable, Very tough to kill. Mine was new, With a few small marks from being in storage, But no scratches or gouges. I bought a Fulton LED Conversion Kit for it, And it makes it MUCH brighter, As well as giving you the ability to use D-Cell batteries or convert it to AA and making it much lighter to carry. All in all, With the conversion kit it cost me about $37, A bit pricey for a old military flashlight, But I think its worth it to have a tough, reliable flashlight that will probably last me the rest of my life if I take care of it.. Lot of worse ways to spend $37.

Works fine
Bought it to check in my kids at night. Bulb is a bit dim if your used to LED. Buy the conversion kit if you want a brighter beam

Right Angle Flashlight
This flashlight is very made and feels rugged, I expect it to last me a long time. When I purchased this item I ordered the LED upgrade at the same time which is much brighter than the incandescent bulb that is supplied. The upgrade kit also has adapters that allow you to use AA batteries rather that D's if you prefer.I am impressed with this light and would certainly recommend it, while you pay more for it than others that are offered on Amazon, it is, in my opinion well worth the money.

Built Tough and Dependable.
Excellent flashlight. Very sturdy and well made. I am a home inspector and my equipment takes some abuse. Having used this very light while serving in the military I know it will handle whatever I throw at it. It is not as bright as those LED lights but for what I am using it for the light is ample.

Love this flashlight
This is a great flashlight, as an Army household, we had one in the house growing up. It’s built to US Army durability specs and has a clip on the back and in the base. The right angle is the way to go, if you ask me. Has red, blackout lenses and extra bulb in the base. The standard bulb may not be as bright but I believe you can find brighter bulbs to go with it.

Cheap Knock-off w/pictures
Not a Fulton Industries MX991/U as the seller advertises, instead it is a cheap imitation. There is no "FULTON" stamped on the sides, the switch is plastic, and the colored lenses included a strange lime green shade. The clip is screwed on instead of bolted. Anybody who as held a real Fulton MX991/U can tell the plastic is inferior, it feels grippy and softer and I can deform it slightly by gripping it in one hand. It is ridiculously apparent it is a knock off.The flashlight arrived in less than new condition with scratches on the body and lenses and slight corrosion or rust on the reflector. To its credit, the spring tolerance or barrel diameter must be tighter as when the light is turned on and shaken, the light barely flickers. The momentary on, or signal mode, works as expected. The plastic switch is easier to move than the metal switch on a real Fulton.I don't want a refund, I want a real Fulton like you advertised!

Decent but not the same as military used.
Flashlight on the right is one I got while in the service. Compared to it, this flashlight is thinner and smaller. Military version has rivets and thicker O-rings. This version used phillips and thinner rounded O-rings. One of the O-rings broke off when I installed batteries. This is okay but is nothing compared to the original.
