Worth It for Muscle Recovery & Joint Pain Relief
Iโve been using the Comfytemp 33โ x 17โ Mat for a few weeks now. First, the size is perfect for targeting larger areas like my back and hips. It comfortably fits my upper body when lying down, and Iโve also wrapped it around my knees and shoulders. The flexibility of the mat makes it easy to position around joints, which was important for me. The combination of 660nm (red light) and 850nm (near-infrared) feels like it penetrates deeper than smaller handheld devices Iโve tried before. After workouts, Iโve noticed reduced muscle soreness and faster recovery. Itโs also been helpful for stiffness in my lower back. I usually use it for about 15โ20 minutes per session, and the warmth is gentle โ not overly hot or uncomfortable. The build quality feels solid. The LEDs are evenly distributed, and the mat lays flat without bunching. Itโs easy to store and doesnโt take up much space. I also appreciate that itโs FSA/HSA eligible. A few things to note: โข Itโs not a miracle cure overnight โ consistency matters. โข The 33โ x 17โ size is great for targeted areas but not full-body at once. Overall, for the price point, this is a great entry into red light therapy without spending hundreds more on a large panel system. If youโre looking for muscle recovery, joint support, or general inflammation relief, this mat is a solid option. Would definitely purchase again.

For the price & quality it's well worth trying!
I love the larger size of this red light therapy mat. It makes it effective in targeting many different areas of the body which is great for the price! It operates just as described. I mostly use the "Red & NR" setting for inflammation and pain. The timer goes off in approx. 20 minutes after turning it on. The warming heat is very enjoyable. It's been operating without problems. Red light therapy research says that it has many positive effects. I am using it for pain. My results are still pending. It is worth trying! Great quality mat!

Must have for pain relief!!
I had to review this wonderful mat! I have tried countless devices - massagers, red light pads that were smaller, many other things for pain. This takes the cake, and I would highly recommend this to everyone. I use it in bed before I go to sleep. The only drawback is the feeling of the plastic on the mat - but I do not see a way around that design, so I turn the mat on a few minutes before I get into bed to warm it up. It is so nice and for those 20 minutes - whether it is for my upper or lover areas, I always have it on my lower back area no matter what because of the size. It is wonderful, and I have definitely experienced relief - especially this terrible area of my scapula that had been bothering me. I definitely think it is because of the size as pain usually comes from multiple areas, so because it covers most of the body, it has helped tremendously. I also use it on high only, but there are various settings as well!

Good size and functions
The adjustable levels of light intensity and having a flashing setting is especially useful for therapy. The higher irradiance level also warms nicely and shortens the time needed for therapy. The timer auto-shutoff timer does seem a little short, but if I feel I need more, I just start it again. The length of the mat is ideal for sitting in a chair with legs on a foot stool, treating from the hips to the ankles on the front and glutes to the ankles on the back. Which means you don't have to keep moving the mat to cover multiple areas and was what I was looking for. My only grip is that the instructions were poor, but it is simple enough to figure out after using a few times.

Convenient red light therapy mat for at-home use and travel
What I bought this for: It was nearing the end of the year and I still had some HSA funds to use. I had recently purchased a red light therapy mask and had been doing more research on red light therapy in general, so I decided to add this mat to my routine. I wanted something I could use at home and also bring with me when I travel for work. What I like: โข Large enough to comfortably use on different areas of the body โข Easy to set up and use โข Lightweight and packable โ fits easily in my luggage โข Nice addition to an at-home relaxation routine โข Appreciated that I could use HSA funds to purchase it What could be better: The mat itself is flexible, so you do need to position it thoughtfully depending on where youโre using it. Not a big issue, just something to be aware of. After using it: Iโve been using this a few times a week for a couple of months now. While itโs too soon for me to say definitively how much itโs helping with aches and pains, I can say that I havenโt had any recent flare-ups and I donโt feel worse. That alone makes me feel good about continuing to use it as part of my routine. Would I recommend it? Yes, especially if youโre interested in red light therapy and want a mat thatโs easy to use both at home and while traveling. I like using it in combination with my other wellness tools for a relaxing, spa-like experience at home.

This mat is a perfect size with convenient velcro straps for wrapping your knee or back.
Exactly as described. Works perfect for wrapping around knee or back. Size is great for covering entire back at once. I had a ribcage injury from a fall, and after just a few days I felt relief. With continued use, the pain is now gone. Lent mat to my granddaughter for knee problem caused by sports. After a week she is no longer needing her knee brace she was quite reliant on. Didn't help as much with the osteoarthritis in my knee. Really like that it is a comforting warmth, but not hot to touch with body. Have a metal framed one that works but gets too hot. Red light therapy is awesome!

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
AHHHHHHH! Relief from several conditions. Sore muscles? Use the mat. Joint pain? Use the mat. Swollen legs? Use the mat. Over time it really helps. The heat helps immediately and if I'm not careful I'll fall asleep because its so relaxing. Initially I bought a belt shaped one but I got tired of laying it down one leg, then the back of that leg, then down the other leg and then the back of that leg, then across the lower back then across the middle, then across the shoulders and on and on. I can sit on this and expose the back of my legs, lay it down the back of the sofa and it covers my shoulders down to my lower back, down from my neck to the top of my thighs and from mid thigh to my feet. 4 moves instead of many many more. Well worth it!

Returning it in favor of a mat that will provide more power for arthritis inflammation.
This is the first red light therapy mat I have tried. I wanted it for arthritis inflammation. I tried it for three weeks but felt no improvement. Product infomation says it is only 65 watts. That's good for surface situations but not as good for deep seated issues like arthritis inflammation. So I am returning it in favor of another mat that provides deeper healing. It worked well and the connector stayed connected but it just wasn't right for me. I would recommend it for more surface issues.
