Great Ink with the Habit of Separation
When well shaken, the ink literally sparkles when you put it on the paper. It's quite mesmerising and is gorgeous when it dries. I'm a fan of the colour and of the fine glitter. The bottle is sturdy and looks pretty formal too. I didn't get the bottle exactly shown in the photo, rather a square glass on which makes it easier to look inside the bottle. Looking inside the bottle is particularly useful for the reason why I didn't give it the full five stars; even though it's a great bottle and a great ink, the liquid tends to separate. The instructions mentions about shaking well before use, but within a few minutes it settles again with an oil on top and most of the colour down at the bottom. For time scale, I shook the bottle well before use and made sure there was no separation at the bottom, within eight minutes I had to do it another two times to ensure consistency.

Gold.star for.gold.ink
Gold Drawing Ink.An absolutley stunning addition to any artist's kit.The bottle itself looks very appealing, the design on the front displaying the colour within very well. This looks much more expemsive than it is.Application is smooth and easy. You just need to shake the bottle to make sure the pigments are evenly distibuted. Personally I used a paintbrush to apply this. As you stroke it on the gold pigments dance across the page. It almost looks alive!Once settled and dried the result is bright, vibrant and very eye catching. If youre gentle you can apply a gloss varnish over the top once dry, but dont rub or the gold may come away a bit.I'll be buying more inks from this brand. Endlessly impressed.

Excellent
Works well with brushes and dip pens. On white paper is more of a cream colour (see pics). Pics show a comparison to Dr P H Martins bleed proof white (also available on Amazon). They are very similar, but for me the Dr P H Matins this has a bit of an edge as you can dilute it. Ink pens work well drawn over it when dried. Would reccomend.

Came on time, great, but would be careful when using a dip pen.
Came on time, and I love using it, its great for use on black paper. Only advice I would give is that it's thicker than other inks. So if your doing calligraphy or more delicate, intricate work that is something to bare in mind, especially if you are using a dip pen.

a must have!
I bought this product to cover the white lines in my colojring books and I'm really pleased with it! It soaks in the paper which makes it easier to layer over with pencils as opposed to gel pens or acrylic paint which sits on top of the paper and does allow the pencil to go over it even with layers

Good for sketching
I have two Winsor & Newton inks, in Sunshine Yellow and Vermillion, which I use with a selection of the other branded inks (mostly Diamine). The colours are clean and brilliant, the concentration of pigment is strong, could be mixed with the other colours to obtain the desired shade. They are fast drying, sheer and great for sketching/illustration. Can be applied with brushes or dip pens.Overall, good quality, but better prices could be found elsewhere.

Ideal ink for calligraphy
I bought some more ink to practice calligraphy, new lockdown skill.I’ve used the deep red, scarlet, blue and viridian. The deep red was a lot darker than I expected it to be, but still nice.

Waste of money!
I bought this ink for my brand new fountain pen. Within the first 10 mins of using it the ink was clogging up the nib of my pen.It was spotty and not a clear flow. After some investigation with different inks, it is not a fault with my new pen. This ink was forming a gunge on the inside of the pen and even in it’s pot. Not to mention the pot is tiny for the price. If you need some ink, go with Waterman, it flows nicely and is good value for money, not to mention it doesn’t almost ruin your brand new pen.Waste of money!
