### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Interesting Personal Narrative

I really enjoyed this book.It offers a personal narrative of the author’s experience and perspectives related to his involvement with skydiving over a span of many years. He makes it clear from the start that the book is not intended to serve as any sort of guide or reference, rather it is one man's narrative about what drew him to the sport initially and why he remains an active participant.He relates the excitement of skydiving and also highlights the risks and importance of sharing insights gained from experience to benefit other engaged in this activity. If you wonder why people do this or what they experience in free fall, this book might help you understand.I am not a skydiver, but in years past I had a group of friends that were actively involved and the author's story resonates with me. I've visited one of the Arizona skydiving centers mentioned in this book and photographed people doing formation practice jumps on several occasions.

Many of the experiences that are aptly described in the book may never be mine, but I learned something from all of them. Good coverage of round parachutes. My dad used to jump them. Exhilarating jumps and good ideas throughout. The book says it all, and then some.
