Having owned many JSAUX braided cables, I was happy to see a familiar name when shopping for a screen protector. JSAUX has another winner here with their screen protector. The installation tools included are perfect - alcohol wipes, cloth wipes, dust sticker, and most importantly, the alignment tool! Included is a plastic frame that clips onto the deck and forces the protector to sit exactly where you want it, removing the alignment guesswork. If you follow the instructions. it's not too difficult to get a bubble-free installation. It does seem to dampen the touch sensitively slightly but not enough to be an issue. It covers the entire screen and is thin enough not to form an obtrusive edge. The anti-glare edition seems to help - if you look closely, the protector is ever so slightly 'frosted' or opaque, like a privacy window, but only slightly. so. This doesn't entirely eliminate glare, but it does a great job at softening the glare and removing the edges from the reflection in the glare so the glare doesn't catch your eye nearly as much.

I just love this screen protector. Combined with the awesome protection provided by their 'hybrid case' with the solid top screen 'lid', I feel I could throw this deck of mine quite a few times against a brick wall with liberal force, before it even started showing it's first scrapes and nicks. But, I won't.. there's likely by now an abundance of test videos on YouTube gleefully showing destruction attempts, if you really want to see those, knock yourself out... The screen protector, made by the same company JSAUX, has been affixed solidly and perfectly for about 2 months now, and my highest praise I have for this protector, by far, is it's ease of installation. Since I have the OLED version of the Steam Deck, I opted for the "Matte" edition of the protector (anything else, and you shoot yourself in the foot - taking AWAY a very cool feature of the flagship Steam Deck - it's VERY convenient non-reflective screen). Of course if you don't have the OLED edition, you have different 'levels' of reflectivity to choose from, if reflectivity is actually your thing. With included yellow mounting guide, your installation becomes entirely idiot-proof, making it almost impossible to mess up even a first attempt of installing this. That's assuming you follow the included directions to the letter. You most likely see some small air bubbles that you feel you can't get rid of, after trying to "wipe" them go the edge, but play a session or two, let the screen get toasty warm, than shortly after when you power on your next session - poof! Any pesky, leftover air bubbles, magically disappeared. Don't ask why ... they're gone, and not coming back. I'll be buying more from this brand. They have a professional approach, with unique design ideas that achieve what no one else has even tried, and what they make has a classy, TOUGH feel to it - not "cheap" at all. The pricing is ENTIRELY reasonable. Not a scratch, crack, or tear in the first 2 months on this still perfectly affixed screen protector, and the more time that goes by, the more I doubt I'll ever see any of the three. This product is an ABSOLUTE win.

Great product for steam deck. Love the quality and ease of applying the screen protector. The guide is so well made that it fits the screen protector perfectly without any deviations from actual screen. The quality of the screen protector is also very good and does remove the glossy glare almost by 90-95%.

This screen protector is an excellent choice for anyone looking to add anti-glare to their Steam Deck. I upgraded to the OLED Steam Deck late last year, and while I would have loved to have gone all out with the 1TB version for its anti-glare screen, I didn't really see the benefit of spending that much more for that feature alone (256GB is plenty of SSD storage for my main games, with a 512GB MicroSD card taking care of my emulator games). This £15 screen protector gives me the exact feature I want without splashing the cash. It's obviously not as refined as Valve's solution, which uses special etching on the screen's surface, but it still does what it says on the tin. The screen protector is a decent thickness, so I feel confident in its ability to perform its main function, and it also does a semi-decent job of keeping fingerprints at bay (although it does not have any oleophobic coating, so it's not designed for this). One of the best things about this screen protector though is the alignment guide, which is included in the package and clips to your Steam Deck so that you can apply the screen protector without worrying about it being off-centre or tilted in any way. It's worth mentioning one minor consequence of having this screen protector installed, however. While it diffuses the light hitting the screen (which is how the anti-glare works), it also diffuses the light coming out of the screen, albeit only slightly. The result of this is very subtle blooming around brighter parts of the screen - this is especially noticeable on white text on black backgrounds, particularly on the OLED, but is also only really noticeable in a dark room (and also not noticeable at all during normal gameplay with complex scenes). I personally don't notice this enough for it to be a problem, but it certainly does exist, so while I don't mind it at all it might be something you want to consider if you're absolutely set on having the sharpest display experience. Overall, it does the job of protecting the screen and reducing light reflections very well, and coupled with the incredibly easy installation process, I don't think you can go wrong.
