This has been helpful for my father who worries about falling asleep in his chair and sleeping through the night. It seems pretty durable and decently made. He didn't say there were any issues with it leaking. Good value for the money. The bigger size bags help him not to worry about if it might over flow. He said it was easy to use.

I was pleased to see that the expiration date provides a solid timeframe—3 years from the manufacture date and specifically 2.3 years from when I received them on 11/05/2027—giving me confidence in storing them for stress-free future use.The bags are thoughtfully designed with clear volume markings that make monitoring usage straightforward. I was particularly impressed by the durable tubing that didn't break or kink, even when bent, giving me peace of mind during use. The cover over the catheter connection is another handy feature that ensures it stays clean.Draining the bag is a breeze, thanks to the well-designed anti-reflux feature and cross-shaped valve. While there's no strap or belt included for attaching to the body—it's worth noting this rather than seeing it as a downside—it hasn't been an issue for my personal needs. This is one of the most useful things I have seen lately. Can be used for the weak and infirm, or even for those on long car trips.The silicone cup, and the fabric of the undergarment are both soft with no scratchy or jagged edges.BOTTOM LINE: this is easy to use, and very helpful for those who need it!

So this was picked up for 2 main reasons though had a back up plan if it didn't. There are times where part of my job being part of SRT I wear a dry suit (we all know what everyone does in a wet suit ya not the same lol) and because you have to hydrate no mater time of yr don't have many options but saw this and was like it may work better than what others do also occasionally we have people try to recreate a tv show but in single & double wide rv's lol and we wear hazmat suits if potential of being home lab another suit that can get hot and if you have the got to go's unlike the dry suit which you can get out of if there is a lab your in that suit for a bit. Like I mentioned in the title it has 2 bags but no way to secure them to your leg (luckily wifey is a nurse not only got leg straps but the bags she acquired feel better quality) so you may want to look into better bags though she also agreed that this "loin cloth thingy" and 1000ml bags hold more than other options she offered(nurses and public safety have messed up humor which helps us both) think this is way better than her suggestions and or others may or may not use(I might be a team medic but that's not in my job description, though I have worn a MOP suit in a previous job and similar options)if it doesn't work for me I have a brother who unfortunately is in a chair & asked me if I knew of alterative to cathing as he is prone to infections but when a doc wants labs its a whole process so he doesn't end up in the hospital & will say he was a lot happier when I showed him this (think he got one already) as what I gave him before (another thing wife was able to get and she agreed it was great solution) he though I was joking though it worked great I get how it can be embarrassing because tech designed for pedi's many many yrs ago when I worked for a hospital we used them on all ages of people with disabilities if unable to cath and kids not potty trained or unable to go its a 2-300ml pedi urine collection bag it has roughly a 2"x3" hole on one end with adhesive ring and sealed on other end like kids with disabled principal is the same (happily not one of the medics "skills" usually nurses not something I've done but seen them done and like anything else in the er if they were slammed I helped out but there are some jobs where that's why they get more $$ even though I've done basically everything else & stuff they can't) put in place depending on gender put new diaper on over it and have them drink fluids even if they have an iv and check every 20-30mins. Like I mention though it worked he was happier with this option though being a brother I had to mess with him as the title say for elderly men and was like man whats up with med community they don't like young broken people first i give you something for kids then you get "pushed around" and get something for old men & he was like u got same thing and was like ya I feel old like our jobs have done a toll on both of us like I may need to borrow ur spare chair he said he had one with square wheels for me & he told my wife [he knows she worries but we all are family & joke around] where it is when I get hurt next time lol (how long he's been my brother he didn't say if I as he knows, we have either been injured at same time or place & up to his sci had almost same medical or surgical history but it comes with the jobs we do and love)Though this does say for elderly men being the proud Irishman I am I will say this will fit or work for 90% of men even if you tell the girls something diff lol and like I mentioned down sides no way to hang or attach & bags don't feel high quality or like is used in US the drain is controled by a T style so you push to one side & honestly like I like the screw type wife got feels more secure but if dexterity is an issue you might like a different one and they honestly have so many diff size bags and valves where not something I personally use and used so many over the years think like anything people will have their own preferences but I do recommend it

This is a real life saver for anyone who is taking a diuretic, as most heart patients do. Other methods of collecting urine, which allow the patient to sleep through the night without multiple bathroom visits, have been either extremely complicated and expensive or just plain didn't work. With this simple device, they've gotten it right at last. The part of the unit that encloses the male organ is comfortable and creates a seal that is nearly impossible for urine to leak through. It's simple to put on, especially with a little help, and can be accomplished in a couple minutes. The bag that holds the urine is a simple and effective design, does not leak, and is easily and quickly emptied. The only drawback with this is that the belt that goes around the waist (fastened with velcro) is a small size and the velcro adjustment makes only a couple inches of difference - not nearly enough. There is no offer of a larger waist size, so the only option here is to take the belt apart and sew a strip of elastic into it - which isn't a solution for most people. I'm surprised that this is really only suitable for small, slender men, since that's the least likely size of those who would want to use this item. So I've removed one star for small size and no other option, even though this is well designed and answers to a real need.
