I have had three of these. The first one worked once and then it failed. My computer could not recognize that there was anything on the jumpdrive and my phone did not recognize it either. I returned it and it was immediately exchanged for one that did work. I’m so pleased with it that I bought a third one.

The set up for this device was reasonably straightforward, but the device was unusable after the first backup. Here are the details: I plugged the drive into my phone and I was prompted to install the app which manages the file transfer. Unfortunately, my phone battery died during the initial backup. After recharging my phone to 100%, I tried to do another backup. The app (or the phone) did not recognize the drive. As a result, I could not do a file transfer. I then tried plugging the drive into another phone and another computer—no response. I the uninstalled the app, turned the phone off, turned it back on and reinstalled the app. No response. No recognition of the drive. After trying similar techniques and reading the instructions, I included that the flash drive was unusable. Since the drive was no longer recognized by the app (or any phone or computer), I am also unsure of what, if any, information was copied to the drive during the original transfer. As a result, I am not going to return it. This item is either part of a scam or just a very low quality product. Do not waste your time or money on this flash drive. It does not work.
