Spice Enthusiast Cubeb Pepper Berries - 8 oz

Mixed with honey, this is an excellent home-remedy for cold/cough. Top notch quality. Very expensive though.

I decided to try Cubeb Pepper when it was suggested by Mike Adams, who guest hosted the Alex Jones Show last week. It has replaced black pepper in the Egg dish I enjoy daily. It is versatile enough that I also enjoy it with Oatmeal and Greek yogurt. The first thing I tried it with, for reasons still unknown, was a cup of Coffee. I crush One berry just enough to open it, and place it the mug with a little Butter while the coffee brews (my coffee maker grinds & brews 1 cup to 1 pot at a time). I usually drink coffee black, but I've enjoyed it this way several times over the past week. It adds a subtle spice profile to the coffee. After drinking, I chew the softened pepper berry, which attains an almost after-coffee mint flavor by then. If you're searching for a new flavor, try this Spice Enthusiast Cubeb Pepper.

The product was as described, and a really great one at that. The cubeb berries were a nice deviation from the typical black pepper profile, with a distinct floral, citrusy - almost minty - kind of aroma to it. I definitely look forward to using it as a seasoning. As for the shipping, it took way longer than expected; I'm not sure if this happens on a regular basis or if I'm just an unlucky customer, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt since my order wasn't time-sensitive.
