Had a garter snake problem, specifically around window wells, so stuck these in the ground around the house and haven’t seen a snake since! Gives off a low humming sound but it’s not loud or obnoxious.

I had a rattle snake in my yard about a month ago. I haven’t seen any snakes since using these and my own snake repellent jars placed around the outside of the house.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Easy to use/install but still saw snake in our yard

We used the Solar-Powered Sonic Snake Deterrent Devices - Rattlesnake Repellent device in our backyard. Within 15 feet distance the snake is living. What is the use of these devices? I am disappointed with the product.

I gave four stars because it’s early on. I have had. Each steak in the ground for about a week and they are vibrating as advertised. I have not seen any snakes. So far so good.

Snakes showing up near the patio was the last straw for me. I grabbed the 8-pack and put them all around the perimeter. Didn’t take long. The build is sturdy enough, and I like that I don’t have to do anything else to keep them working—they just stay powered from the sun. My favorite part is that it doesn’t mess with the pets. My dog sniffed one, got bored, and walked away. Since putting these out, I haven’t run into any surprise slithers. They’re subtle, don’t need batteries, and now I can chill outside without scanning the ground constantly.

Spaced them roughly how the instructions said, and they’ve been running off sunlight ever since. They’re water-resistant, which is helpful because we get a lot of rain. I was mainly worried about copperheads after a neighbor had an issue, but so far, things have been quiet around here. I appreciate not having to mess with wires or batteries—just pop 'em in and let them do their thing.
