If you are having sharp pains it could be a more serious issue that you should see your doctor about. A common issue that had sharp pains in an extremity like that can sometimes be originating from your back such as sciatica. This medicine would not help that. Again, you should probably see your doctor first. **Q: Can you use this on feet?** A: I have but there was no real heat felt. **Q: How do get the roller applicator to start?
