Among the best / healthiest canned tunas on the market for a fair price. Tuna is a great source of protein and some healthy fats while being very low in downsides associate with many other meats. But ensuring it is (somewhat) ethically sourced and very low in mercury is important for it to be a daily part of our diet. I also personally just want tuna. Not tuna in oil, not tuna in salt water, just tuna, in a can, nothing else. This brand is the one for that. Though I typically order the variety with just a bit of salt, not as a preference but because it is cheaper (and the amount of salt added is moderate).
