到着してすぐにPCにつなげてみました。これまで使っていたHDDより容量が大きいのに小さいので、場所を取らなくて気に入りました。

品質などの評価ではありませんが、合計で6万を超える高額商品を２件隣の家に届けるのはやめてほしい。

３台使用している外付けHDDの動作が怪しくなってきたため、一つに纏めるのを目的に購入。 音はとても静かです。データ移動していてもあまり気になりません。 自動スリープ設定です。結構すぐにスリープ状態になります。スリープから立ち上がるのに少し時間がかかる。つまりスリープ解除の回数が結構多くなるので立ち上がるまで待たされる回数が増えます。そこだけが不満点です。

TranscendとWestern Digitalの外付けHDD6台がもう10年選手となったのでとりあえず1台に纏める為に購入しました。数日かけてコピーを取っていますが、意外と静かです。また半年後くらいにこちらのバックアップ用に購入予定です。

10ヶ月ほどは使えていましたが、認識出来なくなりました。ハズレを引いたようです。

多くの皆さんが指摘してますが、作動音がちょっとうるさすぎで、「寝ている間に、大容量のデータをコピーする」とか難しいかもしれません。うるさいだけでなく、「地震の時の振動」みたいな音や振動がする時もあり、気味が悪いです。

I had low expectations about the speed of this HDD. But to my surprise I am getting a sold 200 to 250MBPS write speed. Such speed is similar to SSD external speed that ranged from 500 down to 100 maps, the Seagate is actually giving a similar performance.

She grunts and such. Is loud like them neighbors in the hotel when fires up. Bought as a secondary back up for movies. Server has it own back up and this is the extra extra protection. Reading reviews and without opening case to verify I do believe this drive in mine is an EXOS drive. The one that is cooled with hydrogen or such. Research online while replacing server drives to upgrade So if so then I got a great price compared to buying the drive alone. Happy to have a large enough drive to back up some of my server. Others are being used specifically for other data. For price it is great at time of purchase compared to others. Working now over a year and has also survived a move. I keep it running 24/7. Off only during PC restarts. So far I am happy with it.

He actualizado mi almacenamiento con este disco duro Seagate Expansion de 20TB y estoy absolutamente satisfecho con el rendimiento. Buscaba una solución de alta capacidad para mis proyectos de video y copias de seguridad, y este disco ha cumplido con creces. Lo primero que destaco es lo silencioso que es. Incluso durante transferencias largas y intensivas, el ruido que genera es muy bajo, apenas un suave zumbido. Esto es fundamental para mí, ya que trabajo en un entorno tranquilo y otros discos que he tenido resultaban molestos. No hace mucho ruido, es una gran ventaja. En cuanto al rendimiento, la velocidad de escritura y lectura es rápida y constante. He transferido cientos de gigabytes de datos y mantiene un buen ritmo, muy por encima de lo esperado para un disco de este tipo conectado via USB 3.0. No se convierte en un cuello de botella. La instalación no puede ser más sencilla: solo hay que conectarlo y está listo para usar. El diseño es compacto y robusto, y se integra perfectamente en el escritorio sin molestar. La capacidad de 20TB es, directamente, enorme y da una paz mental absoluta para el almacenamiento a largo plazo. Si necesitas mucho espacio, un funcionamiento silencioso y un rendimiento fiable, este disco duro es una elección excelente. Muy recomendable.

I bought the Seagate Expansion Desktop 20TB External HDD to compliment my two-year-old Seagate Expansion Desktop 16TB External HDD that hasn't missed a beat. I was hoping for the same from my new 20TB HDD. It's early days for a realistic review of the 20TB HDD, but I will share my initial thoughts. PROS * Arrived from the UK to Australia in decent packaging (undamaged). * Australian power socket adapter included. Other adapters covering most continents were also included, making it very handy for overseas travel. CONS * No USB cable included. I had to purchase one before I could use the drive. * Drive makes a grinding, vibrating sound when used. * A clunky, striking sound similar to a hammer hit occurs when the drive comes out of sleep/idle state. * Very slow read/write speeds. * Intermittently disconnects from computer but fails to reconnect automatically. I have to physically take out the USB cable and plug it back in for the drive to be seen by the computer. So far, the performance of the drive has been a little underwhelming. I would likely look for other remedies for my storage needs in the future.
