I’m really pleased with this Sony DVD player’s performance as a CD transport paired with an external DAC. At this price point, it’s hard to beat for pure audio playback through a quality DAC.Happy to recommend it as a budget-friendly CD transport, though I haven’t tested its DVD playback capabilities.
