Completed it last week with a Deltron upper and tested it at the range yesterday. Take your time and go slow and it will produce a quality part. Predrill holes with a drill bit. I did the whole process using these to finish with. **Q: In drill press, how will they do for plunge cutting? I was under impression I need center cut end mill for boring metal, am I wrong?** A: Two or three flute center cutting end mill most 4 flute are not center cutting and will go a horrible job. Two flute end mills in very sharp condition best done on a larger heavy duty drill press 12 inches or more swing. The Quill arbor and bearings need to be tight with minimal slop. Drill press needs to be capable of low speed to avoid chatter.
