Review: It works and I still have my fingers! - My cat loves this toothpaste! He hates me cleaning his teeth and pulls away after I manage to gently clean a fang or two - but he quickly comes back for more due to the product’s tasty (and addictive?) properties. My technique is to lift his top lip and brush his front teeth (this takes a few goes to get everywhere methodically) and then stick the brush in a bit further and let him chew/clean his rear teeth. The long toothbrush is a great bonus and a necessary alternative to those little rubber finger puppets you usually get. It’s not until you pull back your cats lips that you realise how bloody scary their teeth are! Anyways ... regarding effectiveness, this is the best cat toothpaste I’ve used so far! My cat had a truly foul, pungent fishy breath, despite being on a dry food diet, that you would gag on every time he licked his fur while sat in your lap. After one week of daily use (yes ... I know it says 2-3 times per week), his breath is markedly improved - still not kissable, but then I’m not that way inclined anyway. It works! Yay!

**Q: I have 2 cats.  Do I need to use 2 different toothbrushes, or can I use same brush for both?**
A: I know this an old question but for anyone wanting to know if you need 2 toothbrushes apparently yes I accidently used the same toothbrush on my cats because i grabbed the wrong color and was worried so I googled it and many sites said that you need 2 seperate toothbrushes because of sickness,bacteria etc.I don't like the toothbrush in this even though I really like the toothpaste I recommend these H&H pets toothbrushes  (the small toothbrush option only)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072V12ZLQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

**Q: As this is enzymatic, can my cat lick off the toothpaste from my fingers? It's impossible to brush his teeth as he doesnt like it**
A: I would try a different flavored toothpaste for cats, as there are several flavored ones available. There are also some good videos on YouTube on how to brush like approaching from behind with cat facing a mirror...the enzyme will help even without brushing it will help against the bacteria and a soft damp cloth around your finger with toothpaste might be more acceptable in the cat’s mouth at first...I use it in combination with grooming that my cat already likes so it’s always a positive experience! That’s more difficult in winter when she doesn’t need the grooming but I’ld rather it always be a good experience for the cat! But definitely a different flavored cat toothpaste might work better for your cat if your cat won’t lick it!

**Q: Is the finger brush really soft. I have been trying to find a soft finger brush to replace my old one. Needs to be flexible for a small mouth! Help!**
A: We always use the finger tip brush on our cats and not the little toothbrush.  It is soft enough and easier to use to massage the gums and clean the teeth.  Each time you get a new tube you get the replacement finger brush.This works very well with our 3 cats.

**Q: Does the toothpaste need to be refrigerated after being opened?**
A: No.  But watch the expiry date.  If you don't use it often, there may be ingredients that become inactive become distasteful over time.  Your pet will tell you if they don't like it.  My one cat (age 2) demands (loudly) tooth brushing twice daily, the other enjoyed it the first 4 years of her life and the last 3 has flatly refused.  We have tried different flavours, but she had decided it's not for her anymore.
