It's 240V and will work on split HVAC units.
Why did you choose this product over others?:Because it it was universal and had fittings for hvac split unit.Some reviews say its 110v but mine was delivered with 3 pin plug and rated to 240v it worked fine vacuuming out my two HVAC split units ๐ easy to use and half decent instructions.

Good but be careful!!!!!!!!!!
Its good for diy and to get your system working but be careful the low and high quick fit connectors were incorrectly labelled on mine. Filling through the high side is dangerous in any situation let alone with diy cans, could literally grenade as system comes up to pressure and it could happen fast. Just check your ports and everything before you start!
