My favorite study bible (The NLT illustrated Study Bible or NLT chronological SB) is too large to comfortably carry around. This one is portable/personal sized! The printing may be too small for some. The content is quite good, not nearly as colorful on the inside as some others. I have noticed that my copy with the gilded edges (this one) uses thinner Bible paper than the one without gilding. I would recommend this as a primary study bible or something to take to church or Bible groups. Would make an excellent gift! Ps: For size comparison I put it up next to the NLT illustrated Study Bible. (A must have!) Review: Esv study Bible - Product came within the time frame given and was perfect condition. Very pleased with the Bible.

Great study, especially for spontaneous moments during outings
This particular bible study has helped me in my studies. It explains more in one book that would take me so long to find and write down on my own. And it is easier than having ten books in front of you. So it is good for studies on the go as well. Just a couple pens or highlighters or colored pencils, and some sticky notes, and you're good to go.
