Thursday Cottage - Greengage Jam - 340g

Great if you love greengage jam! It's hard to find so I was happy to find it on here. I was worried that it wouldn't be good since there was no reviews, but rest assured it was delicious!!

I just ate greengages. Found them in an international store near me. I hadn't eaten them since high school almost 40 years ago. I also open the greengage jam jar at the same time. I can really taste the greengages in the jam. Their lovely sour taste even though it was adequately felt in the jam, it was a little overpowered by the sugar after all. I recommend the jam for people like me that have fond memories of this lovely fruit. Try it at least once, you can still taste the greengages.

I really like the jam, this is the first jar that have had in years as I unable to find. The only down side is that it took a month to arrive and I was never able to get a tracking number.

Jar was never properly sealed - arrived covered in sticky jam.Used under ripe fruit - lacking true greengage flavour.Outrageous price for the quality.

Lovely tasty jam

The jam was sweeter than i would have expected but was still tasty. The flavour was just ok.

I most certainly do enjoy Greengage jam,well made! I will write further,at some future date ,when I have had time to taste it!

I have been searching shops and supermarkets for greengage jam without success, then I found this online. Excellent, fruity (46g fruit per 100g), delicious, no 'telephone directory' list of e numbers. No more searching; I shall certainly buy his again.
