Works perfect

I was worried about purchase lowest price ceiling mount actuator for my TV. Please don't worry, this is a well built product, and easy to install (you will probably want to build a box in your attic for it to retract into, and add a power outlet). This is very strong. It compares very favorably with my son's much more expensive unit. Highly recommend!!! Whole thing fit within the width of one shiplap panel (7").

This product is amazing and well priced and built, there are just some things to note if you intent to recess a TV with this. -This product is marketed as a Ceiling hanging mount however the “OK” button makes it act as a floor hanging mount for a bed frame. It will go down as far as it can and EXTEND which is the opposite function the directions show and shown in the video. I wish the “OK” buttons functionality was switchable for other intended -A smaller version of this would be great to see in the future for recessing in <2 feet which I am unable to do however the solution still has a really cool effect! -The metalwork is strong but poorly gapped where the Cauter pin holds the mount which causes it to wobble without shimming with toothpicks and other findable equipment. differs with TV weight and wobble reduced heavily with shimming. However this gap significantly reduces how sturdy it is side to side. Thanks for the good product however, just thought i’d give my feedback! Also only took one hour to put together properly, NOT including framing and insulating where your installing it.
