知的情報管理ソルーション（intelligent information management solutions)の専門家が書く マスターデータ管理の本よく出来た本だと思います．まずマスターデータとマスターデータ管理について定義を行いステークホルダーとの関係，要求とその計画について述べています．マスターデータ管理とビジネスの関係を述べた上で，構成する各要素とそれらの成熟度モデルについて述べています．中盤から後半にかけてそれらの構成要素の説明があり，最後に管理ガイドがあるというわかりやすく，かつ使いやすい構成になっています．さすがにデータマネジメントをコンサルタントとしている人らしく項目に抜けを感じません．また，項目一つ一つが良く練られていると感じるものばかりです．少しだけ残念なのは，データウェアハウスとの関連や，それぞれの関係がどのようになっているかの概念図が欲しいところですが，これでも充分に使えます．安くは無い本なので気楽には薦めることはできないのですが，マスターデータ管理をリードする人には必須の本ではないかと思います．
