Is the quality just similar to the original p** A: The quality is very much like the original which I was grateful for as I was worried it would be less durable. I too had a similar problem with the heat around the ears and in fact it was the result of constantly sweating that eroded the original ones for me. I figured however that it was an inescapable consequence of the snug fit that allowed for the great sound quality.
