My son carries these with him on his crazy long drives to work (he travels a lot of hos job). They definitely have a fermented cultured taste but we like them a lot. They are excellent to travel with and are great for those times you need to run out of the house and dont have time to make food. I actually smear butter on mine and then pop them in a baggie.
