There are One USB-C cable with USB-A adapter and one mini HDMI to HDMI cable in the package. There are three connection methods. First, use mini HMDI to HDMI Cable to connect through HDMI port. Second, use USB-C to USB-C Cable with USB A adapter attached to connect through USB-A port. Third, use USB-C to USB-C Cable with DP enabled type C ports to connect through USB-C port.

What is the difference between the "Duex Max DS" and "Duex Max" models?

Compared to our dual-signal Duex Max, the Duex Max DS version uses a single-signal. Rest assured that we have added an HDMI cable to the original USB-C cable, so it will not affect the usability.
