I was tasked with making a graduation gift for a friend's granddaughter, who is high school aged. She wanted a small purse, about smart phone size. The cord is a little bit stiff, but that's OK because it's also durable. (Which is why I gave it 4 stars for ease of use.) I started with a wood Tunisian crochet hook, but switched to metal as I was thinking I could break the wood hook. The cord is 2mm, which uses a 3 or 3.5 size hook (small)...none of this info is on the label. The woven cord with the stitch pattern I used made a really stunning purse.
