It comes with all the necessary screws, plus a few spares, and the tools to install them. However, using a cordless electric screwdriver makes the job much easier and less tiring; based on my experience, I highly recommend it. Was easy to put together on my own, took less than an hour. Just make sure you pay attention to which way you're putting things or you might have to unscrew, flip over, and reassemble some parts......not that I did that, but it can totally happen.......Sturdy. Doesn't make the room feel smaller. I work from home and it has a place for everything, fits all 3 of my monitors and two laptops (school and work), and plenty of room for general desk clutter, keyboard etc.
