Hasbro Yahtzee Dice Game

Yatzee isn't a new game by any means but it is a classic, which you'll never tire of pulling out and playing.The game is effectively Poker with dice, tha aim being to get combinations of dice and tick them off your list of required combos, always ensuring you use the wisest combo e.g. if you rolled four 6s you could use this as 4 of a kind or "all 6s" and you'd have to decide which was the best to play. Because of this there is some strategy to the game, unlike most dice games which are luck based.My husband and I always take this game on holiday with us, as it's small, portable and requires virtually no set up or space to play. I'd highly recommend it for both this purpose and also as a general family game.Overall, this game is cheap, fun and a nice combination of luck and strategic planning which means that everyone has a chance as long as they "get" the concept. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for a game you can play with kids of all ages then this is the one. I've been playing with my 9 year old son and 14 year old daughter, it is fun but also educational as they try to work out the probabilities of the dice falling.The "arena" is pretty clever, storing the equipment but also being somewhere to land the dice. For the money this an excellent game as the quality is very good. One minor gripe is the dice shake which is prone to collapse but that doesn't matter that much.Highly recommended for all the family.A+++

I had this game as a child and used to play ALL the time so i thought i would buy it for Christmas for my partner (One of those Prezzies that's really for me not him lol) I spent Christmas with the family and we played this for hours on end. The only bad thing i have to say is that the shaker is really bad build quality, it's made up of 3 bits of plastic that falls apart with the slightest shake, unlike the old one that was just a solid cup. Anyways i left the game with the family (as they enjoyed it so much)and bought a new one for us for £3 less than the one i bought a month earlier and the shaker was the same as the last so it wasn't a one off thing. But aside from that it's a great game and for £6.99 a great buy even though you might as well through the shaker in the bin as soon as you open it.

I used to play this game when I went camping with my parents and now I have bought it for my kids on our camping trips. I was half expecting the game to be nowhere near as good as I remembered as I recognise that nostalgia can make things seem better - however the kids (10 and 12) love it.They picked it up and worked it out without me explaining the rules and I didn't see them for over an hour - bonus. It takes 2 seconds to set up and is simple and fun to play for the kids and adults alike. This makes a nice change from games that sometimes take half an hour to set up the board and then take 2 hours to play before ending in an argument. As this game is largely luck with a bit of tactics no-one gets stressed.Highly recommended.

As Yahtzee fans I bought this version for my friend's children. Whilst the game is fantastic, unfortunately the shaker for the dice is really inferior and just falls apart with any slightly vigorous shaking of the dice (and Yahtzee players out there will understand the importance of being able to shake those dice with vigour!!) I'm starting to sound like a geek, so suffice to say, great game, rubbish version!

Its maybe a bit heavy to totally be a travel set though we did take ours abroad. Actually like it as a full size set at home as you really do not need anything bigger than this. The plastic is noisy when you throw the dice- i bought a sticky backed felt sheet from a cheap kids craft place in exactly the same colour and it works a treat.This is a great, simple but fun game for all ages and abilities. A really good one for the whole family.

it was definitely, used condition, coffee or something spilt on the case, and dice were two different sizes, was offered a return but declined as i had already cleaned it and children were using it but definitely not impressed for the money.

I recently rediscovered yahtzee and bought this as I got tired of scavenging around the house for dice and making up my own scorecards! This is a great portable version that you can either play at home or on the go, as everything fits into the little playing arena. With it being portable things are on the small side, so you might need your specs to fill in and read the scorecards! But other than that, this is a great addition to our games collection.

Eine gelungene Komplett-Lösung, es fehlt nichts, alles geeignet als Reise-Spiel, nur etwas laut, weil rohes Plastik, aber selbst ausklappbarer Würfelbecher und einzuklinkender 5-er-Würfelhalter sowie dicker Auswertungsblock enthalten, keine Stifte.

J'aime beaucoup ce jeu, et ici le format est très pratique ! Il permet d'emmener le jeu partout. Par contre la piste est un peu bruyante lorsqu'on lance les dés dessus, ça peut être très énervant pour les parents qui font de la route avec les enfants qui jouent derrière !

Il gioco è molto divertente, per grandi e anche per bambini a partire dai 7 anni, in modo che da soli possano contare e adottare strategie di gioco.

Je ne m'attendais pas à recevoir un jeu de voyage (la piste de jeu est mini)....En plus la règle du jeu et les grilles de scores sont complètement en anglais sans traduction française (pas précisé lors de l'achat) . Heureusement que je connais les règles parfaitement sinon je n'aurais pas pu apprendre à jouer à mes enfants. Donc, dans l'ensemble je suis déçue.
