Does this product recline completely to a bed style

If you mean does this chair unfold into a completely horizontal position, then the answer is no--none of the zero gravity chairs do. However, it is VERY comfortable sleeping in a zero gravity chair that is reclined backward---the zero gravity position causes one's body to totally relax which, for me, means I sleep BETTER in a zero gravity chair. In fact, I have problems with lower back pain when I sleep in a conventional bed--I don't have back pain when I sleep in a zero gravity reclining chair like this one. I'm not the only one who uses a chair like this to sleep in (overnight, not just for a nap)---lots of people have found it to be much more relaxing and comfortable than a traditional bed.

Zero gravty chairs come in a wide price range. But they all look alike (to me anyway). Is there any advantage to buying the more expensive versions?

They're probably all made in the same factory in China. What I went by, because I'm fat, was how much weight they would bear. But also one must consider the width of the chair not on the outside but on the inside from one armrest to the other arm rest. This room says it's rated for 200 lb. I want a lot more than that and it holds me. However the locking mechanism for when you lean back cuz needs to be more robust and that is why I got another chair looks like the same design but sturdier and has actual locking mechanisms.

I noticed that too. This one is heavier (and seems to be heavier duty, sturdier). Had one of another brand some years back ($50) that the armrests broke after a couple of seasons use. This one seems better built.

Can my 92 year mother easily get out of this chair?

Easily is subjective. Does she have strong quads and arms? She'll need to lift herself up and out. The back of the seat is lower than the front.
