I recently installed this Elastic Watch Band to find I was able to fit it well to my 6.5 inch wrist. The strap is unique in that I had to set the clasp for sizing before putting it on my wrist and clasp alway remains in place. It's actually an expansion watch band in my experience. In putting it over my hand, the elastic stretches a little but tightens to the size I set within a couple minutes. This was a discovery and not an inconvenience for me.

Have installed different types of paratrooper straps on my watches since a while. Now 5 of them receiving regularly this type of straps. In summer the elasticity and the fast setting is giving so much comfort than every one else. Of course it goes better with field or military or sport watches. I have bought watches equipped with original straps like the yema marine nationale, the Oris pro pilot Okavango (aside of the customisable colors or metal attach, it is looking quite the same), or bought far more expensive paratrooper straps to install to some of my icons. I take a bet on this one because my favorite brand didn’t make this SAS look, and I was fed up with the same one bought on Ali once… This one has the good elasticity and feels strong. The black attach stays at the position when manipulated or when installing on the wrist. For the long last : not yet tested enough but this SAS design paratrooper strap will be used toughly on my « beater » Casio so…

The hardware is what you’d expect for the price (or better): thin metal but does not feel exceedingly “cheap”. The band itself is elastic (which I knew and was looking for) which allows you to size the strap slightly snug for a secure sporty fit while maintaining comfort on the wrist. My wrist is on the smaller side at 7” but it was able to size down well. Sizing: By my measurements, the band I received should be able to fit a wrist from 5” to 9.5” without running into case interference or full band length, measured when mounted on my otherwise good-sized watch’s fairly-compact 44mm lug-to-lug case. With that said, the larger your watch’s lug-to-lug, the less downsizing potential there would be. Also, the smaller your wrist from the middle of the band of potential sizes, the less flexibility you will have on the way in which the metal hardware sits on your wrist. Extras: The best part? Seller tossed in 4 (yes, 4!) extra spring bars and a strap removal tool. Really nice touch on an already competitively-priced product! Other Highlights: Does the strap exude haute horology levels of hand-finished luxury? Of course not. Is it a good value for a sports band option when you feel like mixing things up with a fabric style strap (nato, canvas, para-strap, etc)? 100%. Will it work with a fixed lug watch?
