DC HOUSE 52cc 1800W Gas Powered Earth Auger EPA Certified Post Hole Digger, with 2 Drill Bits 6" 10", Mixing Ratio 30:1, for Fence, Farmland and Garden

I ordered this digger with the 6" and 10" augers. This digger was significantly easier to use that other diggers I have used in the past. It easily bore through packed earth and cut through thumb sized roots. Well made and the instruction manual was in legible english and the only question I had was could it be started horizontally. Nicely made and performed perfectly and easily and quickly bored holes. It bored a hole the whole length of the auger in under a minute where as using a manual post hole digger would easily taken 10-15 minutes and used very little fuel. Great buy!

It has been 3 years and my Auger still works fine. I have used it a lot as we have been planting a lot on our property in hard Georgia clay. I had my doubts when I bought it because I think it is made in China. It has been a reliable tool. The only thing is the kill switch stopped working and I have to turn it off with the choke. No big deal. If there is one addition this does not have that may be worth paying for is the ability to reverse the direction. Nothing worse than getting tied up in roots and breaking your back to pull a stuck auger out.

I received the auger a couple of weeks ago. Because of the weather I wasn’t able to use it. However two days ago I opened the box and place the 10” auger blade on. ThIs thing started right up and drilled 4 holes for some fruit trees. Motor was strong. I was going to also drill some holes for posts on a project. That’s when I figured out the extensions that were supposed to come with this auger was not included in the package. I immediately contacted the seller. It’s been two days and I’ve heard nothing. We’ll see what happens but if I don’t hear from them this thing is going back for a refund.Oh yeah- dealing with Amazon AI sucks! Keep asking the same question over and over.Update. Issue resolved. After not receiving any contact after reaching out to both Amazon and this seller via email- I decided to contact the seller with a phone call. Customer Service was very smooth and accommodating. Received my missing parts as informed.This auger works very well. Even during the initial start up the motor came alive very easily. Once this auger starts drilling you better hold on. This this has plenty of power. Very satisfied with its performance.

Bits ship separately but they don't say that in the description. Wasn't damaged but shipped via FedEx and box was destroyed. Over all it works amazing and it's easy to use.

The auger wouldn’t start. We found someone who works with small engines. He got it started, and as we were digging our first fence post hole, it stopped, never to start again. The company wanted a video showing we were doing everything right (which we were), but the video wouldn’t send. They said they would replace the auger, but after weeks of waiting, we still don’t have the auger and no fence up. We have now requested our money back. If you take a chance on this auger, and it doesn’t work, good luck getting the company to help you.

This auger is very well built and is great quality. Highly recommend. Can’t be the price

This thing is a trooper for the price. I used it to dig 14 12"x 42" column holes and 3 16x42 column holes in thick WNY clay with a lot of gravel.I definitely had to fight through and wet the ground occasionally or use a tamp rod/ post hole digger to clear some spots and was able to do it all alone. Sorry to all the bad reviewers, but the auger doesn't do all the work for you. Don't worry, most southerners should be able to accomplish a few post holes with it since I made room for about 4 tons of concrete.

On 2/21/25 I opened the box for the first time and went and used this auger. First hole went beautiful second one unfortunately not so much. The motor jerked around causing the throttle Handel to snap leaving it inoperable. At this point it was a waste of $300. Amazon days it’s not eligible for returns so I’ve attempted to contact the seller which they make it near impossible to. So I wrote them an email and I’m waiting for a reply. Will update this review in a week if I get contacted by the seller to make this right. Would not reccomend to anyone.Update the problem. They were trying to get me to get a hold of DC house when I need to get a hold of FISTER us. They have offered to replace the motor. Which is exactly what I need Customer Service very helpful and responsive. Once I can test product. I will update you again hopefully with five starsUpdate 2 with a change to 5 stars customer service was great and company made it right and sent me a new motor for this auger. Got home today and it was here so I busted it out and re dug some holes and it works perfect! I will recommend this product to anyone needing a auger!
