Medium. It's a spring model, so there is a fair amount of mechanical noise. The noise emitting from the barrel is not too bad, since it's not breaking the sound barrier. I'd rate it a 3 out of 5. I found the mechanical "twang" of this spring model, is just as noticeable as the sound coming out the end of the barrel. The combination of the two sounds, makes it more noticeable then need be IMO. They do a good job of quieting the sound exiting the barrel, but couple that with the mechanical sound and you end up with a not so stealthy rifle. So medium, not real quiet, but no loud crack of a supersonic rifle either (Over 1100fps +- ) .
