This little night light is great, you can use it as a side night light and a book light. The clip can be used as a stand also. 3 different colours. I use red for reading at night, clips on my books no problems. It doesn’t feel heavy. You can adjust the brightness but just holding down the button. I’ve only charged it once when the light arrived and have used it every night for atleast an hour for the past few weeks and still not had to recharge yet so lasts well. Highly recommend, great value for money.

I bought this to see my tarantulas at night without disturbing them (they can’t see red light). The clip is designed for books so didn’t quite open wide enough to clip on the shelf but it works as a stand alone light too. What I’m most impressed with is longevity of charge - I decided to set up a time lapse video last night to catch one of them webbing up their new enclosure and I set up this light to light up the cage. It wasn’t fully charged (as I’d been using it on and off the nights before for 10-15min). It was set up at 10pm and still on when I turned off the video at 6am!

Bought this booklight last year and it is great if you don't want to disturb your husband and cat at night when you are reading.Rechargeable,and no need for changing batteries.But my brother was so impressed with it that he took it from me and also due to the fact that its name is 'toys for boys'. So he told me its for guys and 'borrowed' mine!!!!So I need another one and just ordering another one now!!One more thing,the amber light is the best.Feels like sitting next to a fireplace and reading a book.The light is soooo cozy.To set the correct ambience if you are alone,spray some perfume from Maison Margiela Replica 'By The Fireplace' and you have created the bestest coziest atmosphere. Aha!!

Great range of light intensities. Only downside is the battery’s short life.

If you have a baby needing feeding in the night then this is absolutely perfect. We clip it to the side of the crib and angle it in the direction we want. There are 3 brightness settings which you can switch between by simply pressing the light. It’s the perfect level of brightness for feeding - not to fully wake baby nor hubby. It’s an orange glow which is meant to be better for your eyes, keeping you in that sleepy state. I also use it for night time nappy changes and clip it to the changing table! The battery life is fine too and you can use it whilst it’s charging. Cannot recommend it enough!

I’ve been looking for a light that doesn’t keep me awake, as I like to read to doze off. I heard about these red lights being very good for unwinding so I gave it a go. The light is super handy as you can clip in on the book or somewhere around you. The clip has a small lip that grips onto surfaces that might not be completely even or smooth which I thought was very clever. It’s a very lightweight light too and the arm is very flexible and can be twisted in all directions to adjust the position of the light. The three light intensities are great, I like to use the lowest for reading. One small annoying thing? That you have to click it through the brighter levels in order to turn it off! Not what you want as you’re nodding off, but it’s a tiny thing to deal with really…

Good sized lamps giving a large area of gentle red light let down by unreliable movement sensors, only working 2 times in 5 making them a hazard rather than a help. Will be returning them and trying to find alternative units

Speedy delivery and does as it says on the tin, so to say. Super light and very easy to manoeuvre into place. Great and sturdy grip for a book edge or a desk/ bed edge. Wire/ neck of the little gadget is very supportive and stays in the position you mould it to. The light itself, a soothing warm orange glow- reminiscent of a himalayan pink salt lamp. Extremely easy to flick through the 3 levels of brightness.. very simple to use. The lowest mode, as others have mentioned, is still a little bright- could go one step lower however that’s just if I had to nit-pick and find some error. ~it’s perfect for my needs and I’m very happy with the purchase. Battery can last a day, luminosity is just good to read a book at night (not toi bright) and the support is great, its solid
