Compact for what I need

Does not cut acrylic, and does not cut wood well.
I must have misread the description, and I knew the price was too good to be true for a laser cutter that gets through opaque acrylic. It barely etches the surface. And for wood. no matter the setting, the only way to get through the wood was to scorch it. Overall a piece of junk. And calibrating was difficult and time consuming. Not easy to use at all.

Great value for the price
Setup was quick and easy, and within minutes I was engraving designs on wood and acrylic. The 6W power is more than enough for detailed projects, and the results are sharp and precise. I’ve used it on leather and plastic too, and the engravings look professional. The compact size makes it perfect for my small workspace, but it’s still powerful enough for all my DIY craft projects.

It's worth it.
This thing is freaking awesome! I've never used a laser engraver before and I was making my first items within minutes. I used the engraver to cut a jig for perfect alignment every time. The accuracy and detail are insane for a $150 "gadget". Get it; it's cheap af and it's awesome.

Scam company
Never buy anything from Acmer. They are a scam company trying to sell incomplete kits that don't work. It took 2 months to get my money back and my bank had to do it. Everything comes from china and it's takes forever for them to even answer an email. Never ever buy from them

Not Great for Beginners
This machine does not come with a base work area and is not easy to understand for those who don't know anything about these types of machines. Once you figure out how to use it, the machine works pretty well.

Small work area, manual adjustments, calibration off
Difficult to figure out how to work, calibration is always off. Not worth the money.I've been trying to get this product to calibrate, and it's always off on one side. I missed the 'return window' by ONE day. :(
