This litter box is AMAZING Quality!! The lid is very easy to put on. The leaves are a very beautiful and have wire throughout the whole thing so you can bend each one in the direction you want. Function is perfect, I can fit the exact amount of litter that I put in a regular box and scooping is a breeze. Only downfall is the little grass stuff is flimsy and falls out. No big deal as I collect rocks and will add them. Might even hot glue the leaves so they can't come out. Im sure you do the need the plastic liner, but i wanted to option for the bottom pot not to stink. Great purchase for any cat lover wanting to hide a box!!

Over all its a good litter box and it comes with the interior liner for the price. Great way to hide the litter box while still having a piece of decor. My kitten won't stop playing with the plant part of it so I had to take it off for now. I gave it 4 stars only cause the lid is a bit annoying to put back together but it's good quality and value.

I had this litterbox, bought second-hand many years ago, and finally it came time to replace it, so I bought it here, brand-new off of Amazon. I loved the first one I had, but I didn't know there was an option that came with a separate litter-box insert, so I was pleasantly surprised that this was an option. Even though my last one didn't have the separate litter box insert, it held up for many years, without too much scratch marks left behind, and without much odor (although, to be fair, I used scented litter, along with scent boosters for the litterbox). I never replaced the "filter" thing on top of the box before, as I never had a need to, but now that I know what this kit comes with and how its meant to be used, I will be ordering filters later on, while continuing to use the scent boosters. The plant on top was in perfect condition on my second-hand one, probably because the previous owner had took the time to take out the creases, but luckily the instructions included explain that you can steam it out, so I will be using my handheld steamer later on to do exactly that. I like that this is a planter style, because I can turn the entry point around to face the back corner of my wall, so that guests can't necessarily see the litter, while my cat is still able to easily get in and out of the box. She likes to kick up litter too, so its nice that this has a good amount of height to it (although with the extra litterbox insert, it does take away from how deep it is, so hopefully she won't be able to kick out litter with that inside of the planter. If she does though, it is nice to know that this can be used without the insert. For as many years as I've had it, I will say, if you take good care to clean it out with soap and water every so often, keep the litterbox scooped daily, and refill the litter as needed/in a timely fashion, you shouldn't have any issues with lingering odors, or deep scratch marks that the other cheap plastic tubs have issues with. Overall, this is a great product, albeit a little pricey, but considering how long the last one lasted (almost 10 years) I would say its well worth it in the end. Anytime I had guests over, they had no idea I had a cat (until they saw the cat obviously) because there were very few traces of odor left in the litterbox. Another good thing, is that the design of this litterbox prevents urine from escaping out of the sides. I cannot say enough good things about this, the only thing I could critique is that the faux peat moss included could come with a bit more, as you can still see the filter through it (but you could also buy river rocks or something else that would elevate the look even more).
