Vox - MSB25 50W Mini Superbeetle NuTube Guitar Amp Head and Cab

Looks and sounds great. As the title suggests nice clean tones achieved out of the box. Not got the dirtiest sound in the world but pretty good when you turn up the gain and the max volume on your guitar.

I’m into Vox amps and this is outstanding. Looks great and sounds like a tube amp. Not much gain if your wanting a very heavy sound, however a cheap tube screamer pedal would soon sort that out. Build quality is what you would expect from Vox excellent - just a shame you can’t buy another beetle speaker cab separately, so you would can have two cabs plugged into the head. The neighbors however are probably glad of this!

As good as the reviews I read said it would be! Amazing little amp for home or recording.

Handy size and easily moved

This isn't a review as a musician. My observations are as mother of the recipient who has been smitten by the guitar-playing "bug" and who has been learning now for around a year, and as such aren't really about the technical aspects or sound of the Vox Mini Superbeetle. Before buying this as a birthday prezzie for the guitar-playing user we had together looked at lots & lots of different amps because, let's be honest, there is a huge range to choose from and at an equally huge range of prices. Plus (of course) the type of music you enjoy playing can influence choice since each amp has it's own strengths and sound, and some of these amps can even mimic the sound of others or be tailored to your own requirements internally thanks to electronic wizardry. Anyway, we narrowed our choice down to two or three and (as is now obvious) when the time came I purchased the Vox. It's a few weeks now since it was unpacked and given its first somewhat tentative outing and, after having used a basic older amplifier for a while, the various settings on this new amp seem to have been discovered and understood by now. The result is that the guitar-player is now experimenting with new sounds and with different types of music, as well as continuing with what had been up until now the regular numbers. In other words this Vox amp seems to have provided the confidence to continue learning and to expand capabilities, which as far as I'm concerned can only be a good thing. The pleasure of playing through this amp is obvious so even though I'm not a musician or the end-user I can see that it is certainly being thorougly enjoyed, which as a mother that is very satisfying. I love this, in my office and in my music room it's a brillaint small guitar amp, with great sound, superb at low volume. I have used this at a gig but it looked very small and the lack of bass on a big stage is to be expected from something this small. Mic'd up it sounded great though.

The amplifiar is of great quality and sound easy enough to move around at Home. And i guess for a small venue, it will be more than sufficient

This is the little amp that could. It's truly amazing how much sound this thing generates. I love the chimey Vox sound and this thing has it, just like it's bigger siblings. I keep this in my practice room and love it. All the sound plus it looks so cool as well. If you're thinking about buying one just do it. I think you'll be surprised and love it!

D’abord le look est magnifique. Réussir un hommage à un ampli mythique tout en proposant un produit moderne, chapeau ! Ensuite, tout est utile et utilisable. Des potards simples et efficaces pour sculpter des sons vraiment différents avec une âme, une vraie ! Le son est « organique ». Pas du tout électronique. Ça sonne vraiment très lampes ! J’ai joué un peu de Shadows et je me suis cru revenu dans les années 60 (même si je n’étais pas né). J’ai mis le gain à fond et mes doubles bobinages ont produit exactement le son d’AC/DC (Hells Bells) ! J’ai ajouté ma pédale de disto et voilà du bon metal bien lourd ! Le volume sonore ? 25W mon œil ! Il y a largement de quoi détruire mon salon. Je pense que ça peut même le faire en répète avec un batteur. Bref, aucun reproche à formuler. Le petit ampli absolu pour moi !
