Yup, you’re right. You do need it.
Let’s be real, you’re looking at the price of this couch. Let me assure you, this is the one. For the price, this couch is the Roles Royce of cheap couches. If you had the chance to drive one, but it was on a slightly bumpy road, would you take the offer? Yes.All jokes aside:There are 3 main issues with this couch you should know before buying:1. The lounge on this couch is actually pretty small. I’m only 5’ tall and the “L” is barely long enough for me. All my friend’s feet hang off and sometimes mine do as well.2. It’s not easy to put together. (This may have been a fluke) The middle seat section I received did not have holes that were drilled in the right place to allow easy assembly of the back piece. However, I just bent the legs of the back piece and resolved this issue on my own. Overall, the pieces sliding together is barely feasible due to how fluffy the cushions are. It took two people to put together (this could be resolved on your own by replacing the claw bracket with a larger one.) The bed part also is slightly lower than the rest of the couch which makes sleeping on the couch uncomfortable. I just lay a mattress pad down and it’s okay.3. The fabric is woven so tight that any excessive movement rips the fabric at the seams. I have had to sew my couch back together because there’s a bay window behind it that faces the street my dogs own if you catch my drift lol. That all being said. This couch is fire. There are two USB slots and two regular outlets. I’ve plugged my vacuum into the couch before. It’s mind blowing really. The USB charges my phone fast and is easy to access. There’s even a storage pocket behind the center fold down and you can close the center with the plug box opened which is very convenient. The shelf can go on either side.Oh and for those pet owners - the fabric is super easy to vacuum and clean and I have a cats and 2 dogs. I don’t suggest the light colored one though. Get the dark if you have pets. It’s not worth it.I’d buy this couch again.
